Today marks two weeks left of summer vacation! I will be heading in to the classroom this week to start setting up. I had to move rooms in June, so I have a lot of work ahead of me!! 

Sharing a rare Sunday post today in honor of the LAST DAY of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I will be perusing the website one last time to make sure I didn't miss any goodies! I remember being frustrated that I didn't buy a few items on sale last year as I ended up purchasing for full price later in the fall. Not falling to that this year! 

My outfit today consists of many sale items STILL IN STOCK! My favorite has to be this cold shoulder satin top that comes in two colors and is fully stocked in both! I tried this on when I visited Nordstrom last Monday and fell in love with the dusty pink color and pretty bow ties! This is one of those pieces that will transition perfectly from summer to fall and it's a fun date night top!

A little disclaimer...it's super smokey here due to a fire (that is actually quite far away), that is sending all the smoke our way. We have been blanketed in a cloud of smoke for just about a week now and I miss the blue sky and sunshine! While we shot my outfits for this week, the sun was completely orange, giving all of my photos an eery glow. You might see a few posts this week that look a little off in color and that is why!!

 How sweet is this little ruffled mini?!? This flirty number has been one of my recent favorites and I've had so much fun dressing it up and down! Swap out your sandals for some heels and this dress can go from a summer outing to wedding guest attire. 

I've also been loving these tassel earrings. They add the perfect punch to any outfit and are lightweight enough that they don't weigh down your ears! I've been wearing them a ton lately and find that they add the perfect pop to my favorite basic tee and jeans combo. If you have a beach vacation coming up this year, take these cuties along!

Hey friends! I hope you are enjoying your week! I took yesterday off to celebrate E and I's 2 year anniversary! It seems crazy to me that it has already been two year! I now own this dress in 3 colors (see how I styled it this spring here), but when I saw this color combo, I knew it was perfect for fall! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen how I wore this dress for date night this summer. Today I'm sharing how I would easily wear this dress in the early fall. This is an outfit I will definitely be wearing to work! I love that I can easily add a cardigan and leggings when the weather gets cooler!

Monday...we meet again!

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! I am savoring every minute of my summer vacation as it is nearing the end. I head back to work in August, prepping my classroom for a new group of kiddos. As excited as I am to get to know my knew class,  I so wish summer could last a few more months! 

I've been all about the ruffles this summer. From fun ruffled tops to ruffle dresses, there is something so fun about a touch of ruffles! The moment I saw this top, I knew I had to own it! Ruffles and yellow?! Yes please! I can't get enough of this flirty and feminine trend!
