Mexico Nights

Top: Lulu's // Shorts: Francesca's, also OBSESSED with these // Shoes: Dolce Vita //
Earrings: Lisi Lerch // Bag: Sole Society // Hat: Nordstrom //
It's Friday!
Cheers to making it through the work week!
Sharing another outfit from Mexico today! After spending all day on the beach, we would usually head back to our room and get ready for a night out on the town. The humidity made getting dressed easy. There was no need to worry about layering or bringing a jacket, and that's saying a lot because I am ALWAYS cold! This outfit was one of my favorites, and is SO easy to re-create! A white off the shoulder top paired with printed shorts is a fun summer look for a festival, the beach or even a night out!

The Perfect Denim Cut Offs

Top: Lace-Up Cami (under $25!) // Shorts: One Teaspoon 'Bandit' // Shoes: Lace-up Espadrilles, similar here for $25! // Bag: Shashi // Earrings: Bauble Bar //
Hello Thursday.
I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready for the weekend!

This was one of my favorite looks from Mexico.
This little white lace-up tank has been one of my most worn pieces this month. A white tank is a closet staple, but the lace-up detailing adds a fun twist, and for under $25, it's a steal! I love it tucked into jeans or a skirt and have easily been able to take it from work (paired with black skinnys and a denim jacket) to dinner!
But what do I love the most about this outfit? THESE SHORTS. I've been wanting a pair of these for awhile now. Everyone always raves about them, talking about how magical they are, but I never picked any up because of the price tag. I ended up finally purchasing a pair when I was desperately looking for shorts for Mexico and HOLY COW. I am obsessed.
Yes, they are a little pricier, but trust me, you will LOVE them. They fit perfectly and I love that they make my legs look longer and slimmer. I ended up getting a size bigger than my typical size based off of reviews I read. I could have stuck with my normal size as these are pretty big on me, but I like being able to wear them on my hips as opposed to high-waisted. This makes them a bit longer, so I don't show as much booty.
I will definitely be picking up another pair of these before summer hits. They are worth every penny and I know I will wear them frequently!

Geometric High Waisted Bikini

 Swimsuit: c/o Boohoo (just $35!) // Coverup: c/o Shein // Hat: Nordstrom // Earrings: Bauble Bar //
Sorry for the picture overload today!
Posting these has me missing Mexico! I so wish I could be on the beach as we speak!

One of my favorite things about beach vacations is the fact that half of the day is spent in your swimsuit. It sure makes packing a whole lot easier! A cute swimsuit with a coverup was my daily ensemble for this trip.
When I received this swimsuit, I fell in love with the vibrant pattern. It definitely gives off vibes of a much pricer designer brand (Mara Hoffman anyone?), but at just a fraction of the cost. You can get both pieces...yes, BOTH, for just $35!
I got this sweet cover up just in time to take with me. It was the perfect piece to throw over a swimsuit, but I also wore it to dinner one night with jean shorts and a tank. It will be a piece I wear frequently this summer!

Palms and Pom Poms

Top: Forever 21 // Shorts: Old, similar here // Shoes: Dolce Vita // Bag: Sole Society //
Earrings: ASOS //
Palm prints and pom poms were two trends I was obsessed with last summer. I love when trends stick around for longer than one season, because I love pulling out pieces from the year before and falling in love with them all over again.
When I was packing for Mexico, I came across these shorts from last year. They were a part of a two piece set, and I set them aside, not thinking to wear them separately. However, when I purchased this ADORABLE top, I knew I wanted to pair them with something that popped. These shorts caught my eye, and upon trying them out, I knew I had a match made in heaven! Topped off with fun earrings and lace up wedges, this made for the perfect outfit for a night of tacos and margaritas in Cancun!
