Fall Favorites for Layering

The temperatures have officially dropped and fall has arrived in full force. I've been wearing boots and sweaters to work and have STILL been cold throughout the day! It's time to start layering up! 

With the temperature change, I knew it was time for a wardrobe refresh for the new season and I picked up some fall essentials from Nordstrom that are perfect for layering! Cozy, neutral knits are must haves! I love finding pieces that are versatile and can easily take me from work to the weekend! The Nordstrom Trend section is ALWAYS the first place I check for their amazing prices and great selection. I love finding the seasons best trends and classic closet staples all in one place! 

I love neutral pieces that are easy to mix and match and I can wear all fall and winter long! A few pieces from a recent order

 have become some of my favorites. This neutral sweater is something I will be wearing a ton. It is under $50 and comes in 5 colors. It has a flattering v-neck and the longer length is perfect for wearing with leggings. These booties are under $100 and a total steal! They are so comfortable and I am loving the cognac color! Some new fall accessories, like a cozy blanket scarf and wool floppy hat help to complete any fall outfit. Adding a scarf to my outfit is one of my favorite ways to accessorize in the chillier months as it helps keep me warm all day!

Striped Cardi

I've officially found my new favorite cardigan! I will definitely be living in this cozy cardi all fall and winter long! It's the perfect weight for layering up as it gets cooler. I love the length, the stripes and the fact that it has pockets! While it's still in the 70's, I've been pairing it with distressed denim, casual tanks and my favorite mules, but plan on wearing it with OTK boots and a long sleeve tee in the coming weeks.

The weather has officially started to change here, making it truly feel like fall. I've been buying all of the cozy knits in all of the fall hues. I fell in love with this flare sleeve sweater because I've been loving the bell/flare sleeve trend, but also...not to be completely basic...but does this color not remind you of pumpkin spice???? Yes please! If you aren't a fan of this color, it also comes in a gorgeous blue and lavender! 

I love that I can easily wear this sweater off the shoulder or on (which will ensure the sleeves stay out of your way when you are eating!). I wore it off the shoulder last weekend, pairing it with my FAVORITE bralette. I now own this cutie in two colors and am obsessed. It's extremely comfortable and the detailing is so pretty. Plus, it comes in a ton of colors!

Today I am so excited to share not one, not two, but THREE looks with you!! You know those pieces in your closet that are extremely versatile? This plaid button down is a fall must...it can be styled SO many ways! Hence the post sharing 3 ways to style it! It was actually hard narrowing down what 3 looks I wanted to share with you!
