Fall Favorites for Layering

 Sweater // Plaid Scarf // Denim // Booties // Hat // Bag

The temperatures have officially dropped and fall has arrived in full force. I've been wearing boots and sweaters to work and have STILL been cold throughout the day! It's time to start layering up!

With the temperature change, I knew it was time for a wardrobe refresh for the new season and I picked up some fall essentials from Nordstrom that are perfect for layering! Cozy, neutral knits are must haves! I love finding pieces that are versatile and can easily take me from work to the weekend! The Nordstrom Trend section is ALWAYS the first place I check for their amazing prices and great selection. I love finding the seasons best trends and classic closet staples all in one place!

I love neutral pieces that are easy to mix and match and I can wear all fall and winter long! A few pieces from a recent order
have become some of my favorites. This neutral sweater is something I will be wearing a ton. It is under $50 and comes in 5 colors. It has a flattering v-neck and the longer length is perfect for wearing with leggings. These booties are under $100 and a total steal! They are so comfortable and I am loving the cognac color! Some new fall accessories, like a cozy blanket scarf and wool floppy hat help to complete any fall outfit. Adding a scarf to my outfit is one of my favorite ways to accessorize in the chillier months as it helps keep me warm all day!

Thanksgiving Style - Suede and Bell Sleeves

I don't know about you, but I've been OBSESSED with bell sleeve tops lately! A great bell sleeve top can instantly add some fun to a pair of jeans or skirt. This is a perfect outfit for Thanksgiving festivities if you are looking for something a little dressier, or swap out the skirt for jeans for a more laid-back look!

On to some more exciting news...one of my favorite sales of the year has officially arrived! Click the picture below to shop, but I will have a round up of some of my favorite goodies tomorrow!

Cozy Fall Layers

It has begun. The intense layering that takes place every time I leave the house. Don't get me wrong, I love fall clothing, but I really do despise the cold. I've already begun to stock up on scarves, sweaters and long sleeve tops to layer. This has been one of my go to combos lately. I can't get enough of this fab sweater. It's so cozy, comes in multiple colors and is just $40. It's a classic knit pullover you can wear all season long and wear for the next few years.

Plaid + Stripes for Spring

Top: ASOS (currently out of stock, but re-stocks frequently!) // Scarf: ASOS (on sale!) // Jeans: Similar distressed skinny jeans // Boots: Tory Burch // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Sunnies: Illesteva via Ditto - try DITTO for 1 month free! Use code 'TWENTIESGIRLSTYLE' // Bracelet: Taudrey //
I wore this top last week on the blog, but have worn it more than just twice. Do you ever have a piece of clothing that becomes your go to? I have reached for this shirt too many times lately, but it is just so comfortable and I love the length! It's currently out of stock, but I've noticed they frequently restock it! I'm wearing a size 8, so it is a tad big, but I love that it is slightly oversized!

I am also loving this bright plaid scarf! It's still chilly, but I find I am being drawn to pretty pastels and brights. I've linked some of my favorite pastel plaids below that will be perfect to transition in to Spring!

Instagram Roundup

Happy Monday! The official countdown to Christmas has begun! Has anybody else still not finished their Christmas shopping?? I have just a few last minute gifts to pick up and I am hoping to get it done today!

Today, I am rounding up some of my favorite instagram looks! I've been a little MIA on the blog and Instagram lately, but hope to focus more now that I am on winter break...and continue on in to the new year!
 A favorite holiday combo...red+plaid!
Sweater: Julie Brown Designs, also love this  // Scarf: ASOS (sold out), similar here and here //
Pants: DSTLD // Shoes: Steve Madden // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Bracelets: Taudrey //
I love this sweater so much, I bought it in two colors! Such a cozy, easy to wear piece! It does run large!
Sweater: Nordstrom // Pants: DSTLD (the perfect light grey)  // Boots: Franco Sarto (on super sale) // Bag: Tory Burch //
My casual Thanksgiving attire! This sweater is my FAVORITE. It comes in quite a few colors and is currently on sale!
Sweater: Nordstrom (on sale!) // Jacket: Nordstrom // Jeans: Old, similar here // Boots: Franco Sarto // Bag: Tory Burch // Necklaces: Bauble Bar Y-Chain, Taudrey 'Autograph Plate'  //
I shared this outfit on the blog last week, and it's definitely already been repeated a few times since then! This leopard sweater is under $15!
Sweater: Target, also love this one // Pants: DSTLD // Shoes: Steve Madden, similar here and look for less option here // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (on sale!) //

A cozy coat and scarf combo! I love this bright yellow coat because the cheery yellow definitely brightens a drab winter day!
Jacket: SheIn // Scarf: Old, similar here
Just a few of my favorite things!
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Necklace: Taudrey // Clutch: Clare V. , get the look for less here //
Cup: Starbucks // Rug: Target //
Another peek at my Taudrey necklace! I was so excited to team up with Taudrey to design this piece! It's perfect for every day wear! Also, these boots are the PERFECT knockoff of a much pricer brand. I wanted to test out a pair of OTK boots before splurging on a pair, and these have made me realize how much I adore this trend. I think OTK boots are here to stay! Also, anybody else loving turtlenecks lately? This turtleneck top is currently sold out, but I am loving all of the great turtleneck options here

Fall Essentials

It's that time of year again! Fall leaves, scarves, boots and pumpkin spice lattes! I am sad to see summer go, but am ready to embrace all things fall. Unfortunately, it's still been pretty hot here (this weekend it reached 100), so you might see a few more summer outfits around these parts until it cools down. In the meantime, see what's included in my top 5 fall essentials below! It's not fall without a good pair of booties and a plaid scarf, but I am really craving a good fringe bag! Checkout a few of my favorite fringe bag options here!
