I hope all of you babes had a wonderful weekend! This week will be my first full week back to work and I'm not going to lie...I wish the weekend could just last a littleeee longer! 

The first official day of fall is just a few short weeks away, but the weather here has remained in the upper 80's. While I am getting excited to pull out my favorite boots and scarves, you won't find me complaining about the heat...I am a summer girl through and through! This weekend I wore this easy breezy outfit for a dinner date with the husband. It was the perfect casual date night look, especially in the sweltering 90 degree evening!

School starts WEDNESDAY and while I am ready to get back to a routine and my new class of kiddos, I will definitely miss summer! From lazy summer mornings, enjoying my coffee and reading a good book to wearing my favorite easy summer attire, it's definitely hard letting this summer season end! 

Lately I've been shopping for pieces that I can wear now and transition for fall and heading back to work. I have been LOVING this top. The stripes and eyelet detailing make for the cutest combo! I've been wearing it with shorts, but plan on wearing it with white and olive denim once school starts.

In the summertime, there is nothing I love more than an easy to wear dress. Something I can throw on and go, to run errands, go to dinner or go to the beach. This has been my FAVE dress this summer. The stripes and tassel detailing and the off the shoulder style make this the perfect summer dress! It doesn't hurt that it's only $12 either!!

This pair of overalls is one of my closet essentials! I've had the same pair for about 3 years and continue to wear them from season to season! If you've followed along for awhile, you may have seen them here, here, here, here and here and plenty of other places! Like I said, I wear them from season to season! 

One way I love to style them in the summer is with a pretty top. Something with a little ruffle, like this $20 top (a total steal!), adds the perfect feminine touch. It's an easy summer look for date night or running errands!

 How sweet is this little ruffled mini?!? This flirty number has been one of my recent favorites and I've had so much fun dressing it up and down! Swap out your sandals for some heels and this dress can go from a summer outing to wedding guest attire. 

I've also been loving these tassel earrings. They add the perfect punch to any outfit and are lightweight enough that they don't weigh down your ears! I've been wearing them a ton lately and find that they add the perfect pop to my favorite basic tee and jeans combo. If you have a beach vacation coming up this year, take these cuties along!
