Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I did a whole lot of nothing this weekend, which was pretty wonderful. Sometimes there is nothing more relaxing than spending the day in your comfy clothes, catching up on your favorite shows! The weather also changed drastically over the weekend, going from 80 degrees one day to 60 the next. It's supposed to be in the 60's all week so I am excited to pull out my boots and sweaters! 

This dress is perfect for fall! I love the embroidered detailing and that it has long sleeves. I've been wearing it all summer with my favorite espadrilles, but plan on wearing it to work this week with a cozy cardigan and booties! It's the perfect dress for the classroom!

School starts WEDNESDAY and while I am ready to get back to a routine and my new class of kiddos, I will definitely miss summer! From lazy summer mornings, enjoying my coffee and reading a good book to wearing my favorite easy summer attire, it's definitely hard letting this summer season end! 

Lately I've been shopping for pieces that I can wear now and transition for fall and heading back to work. I have been LOVING this top. The stripes and eyelet detailing make for the cutest combo! I've been wearing it with shorts, but plan on wearing it with white and olive denim once school starts.

Is it Monday already?

This weekend flew by! Despite it officially being fall, the weather was beautiful this weekend. I've got a few cute new fall pieces I can't wait to wear, but it's hard to pull them out when the sun is out and it's in the 80s! 

I am so obsessed with this cute top! From the stripes and crochet detailing to the adorable fit, this is a top you need in your wardrobe! I can't wait to wear it with olive jeans and booties for a more fall appropriate look, but pairing it with white skinnies was a must for a warm fall Saturday! 

PS anybody else plan on rocking their white skinnies all year long!? 

Flirty Red Dress

There is nothing better than a little red dress. There is just something about a bright red number that boosts my confidence and makes me feel like a million bucks. I was never a huge fan of red, but recently fell in love when I discovered the confidence boosting powers this fierce color can hold. 

This little red number is the ultimate LRD. It's off the shoulder, but what I adore most are the flirty frilly details around the neck and shoulders. I've been loving simpler styling, with minimalistic jewelry and love that this dress looks fabulous with just a printed clutch and a pair of lace up sandals. This is definitely my new date night dress!

Happy Tuesday!

Today is my last day of summer vacation as I officially start teaching tomorrow. I am excited to start a new school year, but have to admit it's hard to go back when the weather is still so nice! I am still living in my summer dresses and denim cutoffs, and know that when I get home from work, changing into a tank and shorts will be the first thing I do! As excited as I am for new fall clothing, I hate to say goodbye to bare shoulders and a nice tan! 

I have completely fallen in love with this sweet off the shoulder dress! I'm already envisioning it for the 4th of July next year with a little red bandana tied around my neck. I'm also trying to figure out how to style it for school without showing my shoulders. I'm think a denim jacket with some wedges would be a great look for the first week!
