Fall Kimonos

It's no secret that I am obsessed with kimonos! From spring to summer I throw them on over my favorite tanks and shorts or wear them as a swim cover up. They are easy to wear and spice up any jeans and tee combo. While perusing the Nordstrom website, I noticed SO many kimono options for fall! From velvet and fringe to rich fall hues, Nordstrom has you covered for taking this trend into the new season!

Two kimono trends I'm loving for fall? Velvet and duster lengths! While I love bright floral options for spring and summer, a kimono in darker shades with burnout velvet is an easy way to transition your favorite white tank and jeans into the fall. I am obsessed with the floral print on this option. The color combo is gorgeous!

A duster length kimono is the perfect way to make a statement! Take your basics up a notch by pairing them with longer length kimono. It's a great way to layer as a gets cooler and I don't know about you, but I always feel pretty fab with a long kimono trailing after me as I walk!

Easy Summer Dress

In the summertime, there is nothing I love more than an easy to wear dress. Something I can throw on and go, to run errands, go to dinner or go to the beach. This has been my FAVE dress this summer. The stripes and tassel detailing and the off the shoulder style make this the perfect summer dress! It doesn't hurt that it's only $12 either!!

Summer Overalls

This pair of overalls is one of my closet essentials! I've had the same pair for about 3 years and continue to wear them from season to season! If you've followed along for awhile, you may have seen them here, here, here, here and here and plenty of other places! Like I said, I wear them from season to season!

One way I love to style them in the summer is with a pretty top. Something with a little ruffle, like this $20 top (a total steal!), adds the perfect feminine touch. It's an easy summer look for date night or running errands!

Summer to Fall Ruffles

One trend I have been loving all summer long is ruffles, and if the new arrivals section at Nordstrom is any indication, it looks like they are coming with us into fall! From ruffled sleeves to ruffled hems there are SO many cute options for the new season. I love that I can find my favorite trends at Nordstrom at prices that don't break the bank!

When shopping, I've been looking for pieces with long sleeves and breezy fabrics that I can wear now and as the weather changes. The moment I saw this gorgeous ruffle sleeve top, I knew it was one I could wear from season to season! I fell in love with the gorgeous mauve color, but it also comes in a pretty light blue and black!

The great thing about this top is how versatile it is! I'm wearing it now with my favorite cutoffs and will wear it with jeans and booties in the fall (as pictured below), but I also love how easily it can be dressed up or down! This top would be perfect for date night!
