One trend I have been loving all summer long is ruffles, and if the new arrivals section at Nordstrom is any indication, it looks like they are coming with us into fall! From ruffled sleeves to ruffled hems there are SO many cute options for the new season. I love that I can find my favorite trends at Nordstrom at prices that don't break the bank! 

When shopping, I've been looking for pieces with long sleeves and breezy fabrics that I can wear now and as the weather changes. The moment I saw this gorgeous ruffle sleeve top, I knew it was one I could wear from season to season! I fell in love with the gorgeous mauve color, but it also comes in a pretty light blue and black! 

The great thing about this top is how versatile it is! I'm wearing it now with my favorite cutoffs and will wear it with jeans and booties in the fall (as pictured below), but I also love how easily it can be dressed up or down! This top would be perfect for date night!

There is no easier summer combo! Throw on a pair of espadrilles and grab your favorite cross body bag and you've got an easy, effortless summer look. Want to add a fun summer touch? Add a pair of tassel earrings to add a pop of color. 

The moment I saw this off the shoulder top, I was sold. Hello...ruffles!! It's a fun summer piece that can easily be paired with shorts, a skirt or jeans!

Confession...I own more white cold shoulder tops than I can count. 

I feel like these days, a white cold shoulder top is the same as a classic white tee, a closet staple for every girl. It's easy to dress up or down and can be the perfect fresh and feminine piece to pair with your favorite denim. 

When I saw this cutie, I automatically put it in my cart. It's under $30 and I can't get over the ruffles and sleeves! Can I take a minute to rave about these jeans?? I wear these SO much and can't get over the fit. They are the perfect wash and I love the raw hem. They fit true to size and are under $100!! If you've been looking for a new pair of jeans for spring and summer, get these...I promise you won't be disappointed! 

Blush & Ruffles for Work with Marks and Spencer

Updating my work wardrobe is something I do seasonally. It's always fun to add a few pieces into the rotation to keep things fresh! When updating, I usually try and look for neutral pieces that are easy to mix and match and a piece or two that are on trend for the season. I also look for pieces that I can easily transition from work to the weekend. 

For the New Year, I spent some time perusing the Marks and Spencer website for some fresh work wear. I have recently become obsessed with Marks and Spencer! They have a wide variety of clothing, accessories and shoes for your entire family (not to mention an entire home goods section) all at varying price points. I found so many goodies while shopping, that I already plan on placing a second order! These grey skinnies were the first item I added to my cart. You can't go wrong with a great pair of grey pants...they literally go with everything! This ruffle top is the perfect mix of classic meets trendy. I love the fit, but what sold me was the subtle ruffles which are so on trend this season! I have been wearing this cozy pink coat with EVERYTHING lately. Blush has definitely been one of my go to colors this season. My favorite part of this entire look though, has to be these suede wedge booties. These are the perfect shoes for teaching because they give me a little heel, but are ridiculously comfortable, which is great when you are on your feet all day!
