Ruffles and Prints

Photography By: Haley Christine Photography

Summer's coming! For those of you who saw my sneak peek of this outfit on instagram, you know my feelings about prints and colors. Wear as many as possible at one time during the summertime!! Summer is always my favorite season. Not just because it's often filled with lazy days in the sunshine, sipping icy drinks and reading by the pool, but because clothes tend to be so much more fun! Now don't get me wrong, by the end of the summer I will say the same thing about fall as I crave boots and scarves, but for now bring on the neons, prints and off the shoulder tops!

For some reason, I've been really loving this top, pairing it with just about everything! Maybe it's the fact that it's everything I'm loving lately...ruffles and off the shoulder. If only it was hot pink or neon green...! I've been surprisingly impressed by the quality for a little over $8. One of those awesome steals that has/will be well loved!
These shorts are another score from Spool 72. I've shopped at Spool 72 before, and love that they are located in my home state, Washington! They carry the most unique and fun items at prices that won't break the bank...my favorite!! They have SO many cute things right now, but I'm really obsessing over their shorts selection! I linked a few above that I love, but let's be realistic....I love them all!!!

In jewelry news, I'm wearing 3 of my latest loves.
1. Jazzy K Designs Tribal Crystal Bracelet: I'm dying over the cuteness overload that is this bracelet!! Tribal printed AND pretty bling? Does it get any better?? I think no!

2. InPink Leather Chunky Chain Wrap Bracelet: This is a super fun piece that I've been wearing daily. I like to mix it in with other bracelets...it's so cute and definitely a fun piece to add to your wrist party:)

3. Chloe + Isabel Necklace & Earrings: You've seen my rave reviews about Chloe + Isabel before, but these pieces take it to a whole new level. First off, this necklace is AMAZING. It's convertible, as magnetic twist & lock pave closures allow you to wear it 3 different ways; 2 different necklaces and a bracelet. I'm wearing it as one, but have worn it numerous ways. If you are going to buy any necklace this summer, this is the one! The tassel is sold separately, but such a must as it's so on trend and looks amazing on the necklace and bracelet! Oh, and the earrings...I have not taken these pretty beauties off since receiving them! They are the cutest little turquoise studs! Check out Vanessa's Chloe + Isabel boutique and follow her on Facebook. She is THE SWEETEST and also amazing at styling...so contact her if you aren't sure what Chloe + Isabel pieces to pick out! She's the best!

Spotlight Weekly Link-up - Favorite Sunnies

Today I am co-hosting the Spotlight Weekly Link-up with the wonderful Elle of Living in Color Style and Jacqueline of Stylin' in St. Louis. I adore both of these sweet bloggers and was so excited when they asked me to co-host...especially because today's topic is favorite sunnies!

Shorts: Merona Chinos in Lime Target  - on sale for $12!
Jacket: American Eagle - Similar
Sunnies:Anthropologie - Similar

You've probably figured this out by now, but these Anthropologie sunnies I picked up last summer are my all time favorites! They are definitely my most worn pair of sunglasses, as told by their frequent appearances on the blog. At only $38 they were a total steal as the quality is something similar to a far pricier version. I definitely recommend them...in fact, I might just end up getting this super similar option as well!!

1. We kindly ask that you follow the two hosts: Elle from Living in Color Style and Jacqueline from Stylin' In St. Louis via Bloglovin or GFC, and the guest host, Ashley of Twenties Girl Style! (The first three links in the link-up.)
2. Use the button provided on Elle or Jacqueline's side bar or link back to the link-up on your blog.
3. Enjoy reading other blogs and make new blogger friends!

Sweet Stripes

Jeans: American Eagle - Have these and am obsessed!
Bracelet: Baublebar

Photography By: Sierra Loomer Photography

Lately if I'm not wearing lots and lots of bright colors, I'm wearing black and white, as seen herehere and here. Black and white is classic, crisp and easy and makes for perfect outfit choices when you just don't want to think about it.
This top is SO cute. It's great quality, fits adorably and has the sweetest ruffle detailing. OH and it's on sale for $19! Yes, you need it and I totally recommend it, but order a size up as it runs small (I ordered a medium). Adding my favorite jeans, a pair of heeled sandals and of course my favorite Baublebar necklace, I was ready to go for a day of errands and dinner with the boyfriend. I'm totally craving pairing this top with red though, so be on the lookout for a remix post soon:)

Eyelet & Lace

Sunnies: Anthropologie - Similar
Bracelets: Baublebar

Photography by: Sierra Loomer Photography

Have you ever fallen so in love with something you automatically feel like you need it in every color and style??
This has happened to me with a few things in life. When I was younger, anything to do with owls (thank goodness I outgrew that phase) and Juicy Couture Jumpsuits (yeahhhhhhhh...lets not go there) and these days Free People Voile and Lace Trapeze Slip Dresses, Rebecca Minkoff Purses, and now...Keds
I've always wanted to try Keds, especially with the adorable styles they have been coming out with, but never made a purchase. Then these perfect little eyelet babies came into my life and changed everything. Not only are they ridiculously cute, but they are SO comfortable!!!! I put them to the true test...wearing them to school and then my second job, and by the time I got home at 10pm, my feet were singing their praises as well. No blisters or sore feet, guys! It was a miracle! Now I don't know about you, but a shoe that's CUTE and COMFORTABLE?!? Yes, please!
Now I'm avidly searching the site, figuring out what my next pair will be. They have so many cute choices, it's hard to narrow it down. Can I just get one of each, please??

I paired them with this darling little lace dress from OASAP, which I totally recommend! It has just the right amount of swing to it and a perfect fit. I easily transitioned it from day to night, for a work function with my boyfriend, by just changing out the shoes and removing the jacket.
