The Fall Cardigan You Need

Today's post is in collaboration with Nordstrom. All opinions are my own!
Look  1: Cardigan // Striped Tee // Suede Mini Skirt // Mules, Similar // Bag // Sunnies

The first official day of fall might be tomorrow, but fall has been in the air all week! The temperature has hovered in the 60s this week and I haven't minded. It gave me the chance to pull out my favorite cozy knits sweaters and scarves! I have a few essentials that my fall wardrobe would not be complete without. At the top of that list...? A grey cardigan!

Every year, I invest in a new grey cardi and it is ALWAYS the most worn piece in my wardrobe! Grey is the most versatile color, as it's easy to pair with just about anything! This year, the moment I saw this Treasure & Bond option at Nordstrom, it immediately went into my cart! I adore the slouchy, oversized fit, the slightly marled fabric and the larger pockets. I knew it would be perfect for work and the weekend, and I've already worn it multiple times, paired over dresses and skirts and with my favorite denim!

Treasure & Bond is one of my FAVORITE exclusive to Nordstrom woman's brands. Reasonably priced, Treasure & Bond offers quality pieces that don't break the bank. I love that their pieces are often classic, but have a trendy spin that is not too over the top. This is a great way to try out the top trends and not worry about them going out of style too quickly! One Treasure & Bond item that I am OBSESSED with are their $25 tees. They are so soft and comfortable and you can't beat the price!

The best part of Treasure & Bond is their "give back" incentive. With every sale, a donation is made to empower youth. Currently a percentage of sales are being donated to the YWCA. As a teacher, this is something I can FULLY stand behind. Who doesn't love shopping for a good cause?!

Embroidered Dress

Look 1: Dress // Similar Cognac Cross Body // Espadrilles, more espadrille options here

Look 2: Dress // Cardigan // Similar Bag // Booties, more open toe bootie options here

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I did a whole lot of nothing this weekend, which was pretty wonderful. Sometimes there is nothing more relaxing than spending the day in your comfy clothes, catching up on your favorite shows! The weather also changed drastically over the weekend, going from 80 degrees one day to 60 the next. It's supposed to be in the 60's all week so I am excited to pull out my boots and sweaters!

This dress is perfect for fall! I love the embroidered detailing and that it has long sleeves. I've been wearing it all summer with my favorite espadrilles, but plan on wearing it to work this week with a cozy cardigan and booties! It's the perfect dress for the classroom!

Olive Denim

Happy Wednesday, babes! I am definitely feeling a mid-week slump as this is my first full week back to work and it just feels like it's creeping by. I've definitely thought today was Thursday more than once. Doesn't it feel like it should be Thursday??

When I saw my favorite jeans are now available in the perfect shade of olive green, I had to snag them! At under $100, these jeans are the perfect pair for fall and I love the busted knee look! I paired them with a cute striped peplum top for an easy weekend look. This peplum tee is the SOFTEST thing I have ever felt and under $30!

I hope you are having a great week!

Cutoffs and Ruffles

I hope all of you babes had a wonderful weekend! This week will be my first full week back to work and I'm not going to lie...I wish the weekend could just last a littleeee longer!
The first official day of fall is just a few short weeks away, but the weather here has remained in the upper 80's. While I am getting excited to pull out my favorite boots and scarves, you won't find me complaining about the heat...I am a summer girl through and through! This weekend I wore this easy breezy outfit for a dinner date with the husband. It was the perfect casual date night look, especially in the sweltering 90 degree evening!

Classroom Style: Cargo Joggers

Cargo Joggers (Come in 2 colors - $20!!!) // Top (4 colors - $24!) // Mules // Similar Bags Here and Here (this one is only $19!)

Anybody else LOVING this 3 day weekend? I think every weekend should be 3 days. I feel much more relaxed and ready to take on the week! The other great thing about this long weekend? All of the amazing sales!!

I am so excited to share another one of my teacher looks with you today, but especially because most of the pieces are part of some huge Labor Day sales happening now. You can get this top and bottom combo for UNDER $50!!

This top is one of my current closet faves and I might order it in another color because the sale price is too good!! I wore this top to work last week tucked into a denim mini. It's such a fun piece and I love the statement sleeves!

These cargo joggers are perfect for work. They come in 2 colors and are currently on sale for just $20!! I found them to run a little big...I'm wearing the smallest size available and still found them a bit oversized! I ended up rolling up the bottoms (short girl probs) and love the jogger look it created. These will definitely be one of my staples for classroom wear this year and it doesn't hurt that they are SUPER comfortable!!

With all of the sales happening now, I've done a little shopping for a few new items to add to my work wardrobe. Check out my faves below!
