Spring Dresses with Nordstrom

I am a warm weather girl all of the way, and find it so much easier to get dressed from April-August then any other time of year. I'll take dresses and sandals over scarves and coats any day of the week! 

This time of year, I start to stock my closet with sweet dresses that are easy to wear. Adding a few spring dresses is the perfect way to refresh your wardrobe for spring.

 My go to for shopping new spring dresses is Nordstrom. They have a wide variety of brands I love at varying price points and the quality can't be beat! Living 3+ hours away from the nearest Nordstrom, I order online A LOT and have called customer service manyyy times. I am always impressed with their knowledge and how helpful they truly are! 

Whether looking for an easy to wear dress for the weekend or one to wear to a spring wedding, Nordstrom has the best selection of spring dresses for any occasion...and with daily new arrivals, it's not hard to find one (or two) to love either! The moment I saw this pretty embroidered option, I knew it would be perfect for work and the weekend. I wore it to explore a nearby town with my mom and sisters this past weekend, (note - This dress was steamed before I left, but a ride in the car left it so wrinkled)! This peplum tank was was a recent find and I just couldn't turn it down, especially for the under $20 price tag! It's one of those pieces that is extremely versatile and I know I will get a ton of wear out of it!!

Only a week until the first official day of spring and I can't wait! The weather has been showing signs of the season to come and I've definitely enjoyed more sunshine. Although it did snow once last week, so fingers crossed no more snow comes this way! 

Pretty tanks and light-weight sweaters are one of my favorite combos this time of year. Light layers ensure that you stay the perfect temperature all day, to fend off the ever changing spring temps. This tank is so pretty and easy to wear. I've had a few people ask about what bra to wear with it. Because I was layering, I wore a regular bra with a lacy center, doubling the lace and camouflaging the bra. Another option if you are wearing it without a top layer is a strapless plunge (try this one) or a sticky bra (like this).

There is nothing I love more than a great pair of overalls. I've had this pair for a few years and they are always one of the first things I reach for on the weekend! 

Need a laid-back, but cute outfit for running errands or a Saturday adventure? Pair your overalls with a basic long sleeve tee (this one is my favorite and on sale for under $5!!), a cargo jacket and some sneakers. It's easy to re-create and effortless!
