How to Style an Off the Shoulder Top This Winter

Just because it's winter, doesn't mean you can't show a little shoulder! I can't turn a cute off the shoulder top down and the moment I saw this cutie from Poshsquare, I knew it was the perfect piece to add to my winter wardrobe! The best part? It comes in 4 great colors, and is under $40!

While there are so many great off the shoulder sweaters this season, sometimes you don't want the extra bulk a sweater adds. This top is great for date night or a girl's night out. While it would be perfect with a pair of denim shorts in the summertime, pair it with dark jeans and booties for a more seasonally appropriate look this winter! Going with a fun print or fabric is also a great way to add a little interest. This one is made of the prettiest satin, but I also love a good velvet option (as seen here).

Tan and Grey

Happy Monday!
I am officially on winter break and pretty excited about it! Time to sleep in, watch some Christmas movies and finish my shopping! Are you done with your shopping?

It was pretty hard to leave the house this weekend as the temperature never rose about 20 degrees. But not wanting to miss out on some festivities, I bundled up and ventured outside.
Easy, basic outfits like the one above are perfect for cold days because they are so easy to layer! I wore this last weekend when it wasn't as cold, but could have easily paired this with a scarf and heavy coat to brave the frigid temps this weekend. I am OBSESSED with this crewneck sweater. It's super soft and comfortable and I love the fit. It comes in 4 colors (all fully stocked) and is just $40! I'm wearing an XS.

Off the Shoulder Sweater

Hey Thursday...we meet again!
Anybody else counting down the hours until the weekend?
I can't wait to catch up on my sleep and be re-united with this cozy off the shoulder sweater...currently one of my favorite pieces to throw on during the weekend. Not only can it easily be dressed up, but I also love pairing it with leggings for couch lounging on a dreary Sunday.

Cozy Fall Layers

It has begun. The intense layering that takes place every time I leave the house. Don't get me wrong, I love fall clothing, but I really do despise the cold. I've already begun to stock up on scarves, sweaters and long sleeve tops to layer. This has been one of my go to combos lately. I can't get enough of this fab sweater. It's so cozy, comes in multiple colors and is just $40. It's a classic knit pullover you can wear all season long and wear for the next few years.

Floral Off the Shoulder Dress

Happy Tuesday! Anybody else ever struggle with finding time to take photos?! My husband takes most of my photos, and finding time when we are both available has been so difficult hence the lack of posts lately.

I've been waiting forever to post this sweet off the shoulder dress. I've had it on repeat all fall. I love the pretty fall floral tones and that it's long sleeve. I've even worn it to work with a chunky knit sweater, tights and boots.

Off the Shoulder Ruffles

One trend I don't see going away anytime soon is off the shoulder. It was all over the place this summer (you know you saw it plenty of times on my blog) and I'm sure it will carry over into the fall. I can't wait to get my hands on some cozy off the shoulder sweaters for the chilly months ahead! While it's still warm, I continue to wear my favorite off the shoulder tops from this summer, just pairing them with jeans instead of shorts. This sweet ruffle option is too cute. I love the blush and the oversized ruffle detailing that makes this top so fun. It's an easy pick for pairing with jeans as it doesn't require too many accessories!
