Being on winter break, I actually forgot what day it was. I spent all yesterday doing absolutely nothing. I stayed in my pjs, didn't do my hair or makeup and just binged watched Netflix shows. Sometimes you just need one of those days to fully feel relaxed! 

I've been obsessed with the midi skirt trend, so the moment I saw this pleated gold option, I knew I had to order it! This is such a fun skirt for the holidays or even a winter date night! I styled it with an easy black sweater (this one is currently on sale for under $30) for the perfect NYE look, but have also worn it with a loose tank and faux leather jacket for date night with the hubs. At just $25 this is a fun piece to add to your wardrobe to mix things up this winter!

Ladies...I think I might have found the PERFECT tee. 

Comfortable. Lightweight. Side split hem (my current obsession). Under $15. 

Yes, this tee is just about perfect and comes in a variety of colors, so if you plan on buying one, you might as well buy it in a few more colors too...it's that good. 

I've been wearing it non-stop lately. It has a super flattering fit and I love that it's so airy, which makes it perfect for future warm weather!

Forever 21 used to be my spot. In my late high school/early college years I literally bought everything from there. As I got older, I started to realize that that wasn't the best strategy as the pieces tended to be pretty trendy and didn't have the best closet life. Just because they are cheap, doesn't mean you need to spend absolutely all of your shopping budget on it (hello 16 year old me). Of course I didn't completely stop shopping there, I would stop in every once in a while to peruse, but didn't spend too much time and never bought more then a few basic things. 

I have recently re-discovered my love for Forever 21, but age has made me a much wiser F21 shopper. For one, I am no longer adding 10 things at a time to my online cart. This has only resulted in some pretty terrible purchases in the past, including pieces I never even took the tags off of (hello, floral, velvet, body-con, one sleeve dress...yeah, what was I thinking?!). I have started browsing the new arrivals section and thinking about all of the different ways I can wear something before just adding it to my cart. Taking the time to think about pieces, means that I end up with about 3-4 items in my cart that are all pieces I will wear multiple ways. 

This top was one that didn't jump out to me at first. I think it took browsing over it twice for me to really look at it. I fell in love with the fun fringe and slightly boxy, cropped cut. I spent about 3 minutes tops imagining about 5 different ways to wear it and into my cart it went.

 This outfit is the epitome of fall! Autumn colors, a cozy scarf and topped off with a floppy hat! I love a good swing dress and this one is perfect for this time of year! I love the autumn floral print and love that it is long sleeve! I have already paired it with leggings and boots for work and can't wait to continue to remix it into my wardrobe this winter! The best part? It's under $30!
