In the summertime, there is nothing I love more than an easy to wear dress. Something I can throw on and go, to run errands, go to dinner or go to the beach. This has been my FAVE dress this summer. The stripes and tassel detailing and the off the shoulder style make this the perfect summer dress! It doesn't hurt that it's only $12 either!!

One trend I have been loving all summer long is ruffles, and if the new arrivals section at Nordstrom is any indication, it looks like they are coming with us into fall! When shopping, I've been looking for pieces with long sleeves and breezy fabrics that I can wear now and as the weather changes. The moment I saw this gorgeous ruffle sleeve top, I knew it was one I could wear from season to season! I fell in love with the gorgeous mauve color, but it also comes in a pretty light blue and black!
The great thing about this top is how versatile it is! I'm wearing it now with my favorite cutoffs and will wear it with jeans and booties in the fall (as pictured below), but I also love how easily it can be dressed up or down! This top would be perfect for date night!
A new school year is upon us and I am soaking up every last minute of my summer vacation. I've already headed back into my classroom to get the room ready for the kiddos and have had some meetings to plan and discuss the new year. The start to a new school year is so hectic and it takes some time to get back into my routine!
