Or should I say Happy Halloween! Monday is a lot sweeter when it lands on such a fun holiday! My plans for tonight include curling up under a blanket, watching a spooky movie and probably eating half of the candy meant for trick or treaters. I might even pull out my kitty cat or Minnie mouse ears because Halloween is the perfect excuse to dress up. 

This rust colored shift dress would be the perfect piece to dress up for tonight. I can already envision how cute this ensemble would be with kitty ears! The perfect Halloween outfit for someone who wants to get in to the spirit on a low-key level. It has begun. The intense layering that takes place every time I leave the house. Don't get me wrong, I love fall clothing, but I really do despise the cold. I've already begun to stock up on scarves, sweaters and long sleeve tops to layer. This has been one of my go to combos lately. I can't get enough of this fab sweater. It's so cozy, comes in multiple colors and is just $40. It's a classic knit pullover you can wear all season long and wear for the next few years.

Happy Tuesday! Anybody else ever struggle with finding time to take photos?! My husband takes most of my photos, and finding time when we are both available has been so difficult hence the lack of posts lately. 

I've been waiting forever to post this sweet off the shoulder dress. I've had it on repeat all fall. I love the pretty fall floral tones and that it's long sleeve. I've even worn it to work with a chunky knit sweater, tights and boots.

Happy Thursday! I've been a little MIA because of a busy week at school. Conference week is surprisingly draining! I love getting to share how my kiddos are doing with their parents, but when you accidentally schedule 10 conferences in one day and find yourself talking for 5 hours straight, you're pretty much ready to go to bed when you get home. Yesterday that is exactly what I did, finding myself snuggled up in bed by 8. Anybody else come home after a long day and immediately crawl into bed??

Is there anything better than a great plaid shirt? An OFF THE SHOULDER plaid shirt, of course! This cutie is perfect for fall and currently under $15. It's easy to pair with colored skinnies or distressed denim and I find myself reaching for it frequently during the weekends, because it is the perfect casual fall top for a Saturday night or a Sunday of running errands.
