Or should I say Happy Halloween! Monday is a lot sweeter when it lands on such a fun holiday! My plans for tonight include curling up under a blanket, watching a spooky movie and probably eating half of the candy meant for trick or treaters. I might even pull out my kitty cat or Minnie mouse ears because Halloween is the perfect excuse to dress up. 

This rust colored shift dress would be the perfect piece to dress up for tonight. I can already envision how cute this ensemble would be with kitty ears! The perfect Halloween outfit for someone who wants to get in to the spirit on a low-key level. I've been a little MIA lately! Our wifi went out last Thursday and has YET to be fixed. It's such a pain when you rely so heavily on it! It's conference week, so I have been leaving work late, and haven't had much time to go searching for wifi. Hoping to have it fixed by tomorrow!! 

I am absolutely LOVING suede skirts lately! This option I picked up from H&M goes with just about anything! Currently looking for a suede circle skirt to add to my fall rotations! Check out some of the options I am loving below!

If you've been following me on instagram (@twentiesgirlstyle) you know I am currently stripe obsessed. Stripes, like leopard, are such a neutral pattern that can be paired with just about anything. A good stripe can really pull an outfit together, especially when mixed with another print! I didn't mix todays stripes, but opted for a chunky knit scarf. This stripe top from Love on a Hanger is extremely versatile! It's actually long, with slits up either side, but pairing it with a high waisted bottom really changes the look! I am loving all of the tops at Love on a Hanger lately! They have some unique, on trend pieces that don't break the bank!

Fall Essentials: Suede Booties

It's officially fall and my fall wardrobe is ready to come out in full force. At the top of the pile? Booties! Boots of any kind have always been one of my favorite things about fall, but booties are easily my favorite type as they can be worn year round. This year I have been drawn to anything suede. There are SO many fabulous suede options out there, that I might have even picked up a pair...or three.  This look features a few of my fall essentials! In the cooler months, when I don't know what to wear, I always gravitate towards a plaid button down and a pair of booties! It's a fool-proof outfit that can easily be dressed up or down depending on the the bottoms you pair with it! Pair it with some black skinnies and a statement necklace?? Instant chic! Want a more laid-back, casual look? Jeans it is! There really is nothing better than a good, cozy plaid button down!

Fall Essentials: Leather Pumps

Leather pumps are not just a fall essential, but rather a year round must! A great pair of pumps can instantly transform an outfit. I am currently lusting over some new pumps, including ALL of the below. In fact, a few of the pairs are at the very top of my fall wish list. Whether you are going for something with a classic shape or something more on trend, all of these options are something you are sure to re-wear all year long! Check out some of my favorite leather high-heel options or if a heel is not on your radar, try a leather pointed flat for that similar instant chic effect! Add a great pair of jeans in to the mix and you've got the perfect fall outfit!

Fall Essentials: Ankle Booties

This is the time of year that I start scouring my favorite shops for the perfect pair of ankle booties to add to my fall wardrobe. A new pair of booties is one of my fall essentials as it's something I wear constantly through the fall, winter, spring and even in the summer with a dress or denim cut offs. I always look for something I know I will get a ton of wear out of that will look good with anything and everything! This year, it's going to be tough to make a decision as there are so many contenders! I think this year I will be splurging on a great pair of brown ankle booties (options here) as they tend to be an absolute necessity in my wardrobe (and my current pair are just about worn out!). Along with my ankle booties, I will be looking for a new pair of rainboots and over the knee boots, but I will share my top picks with you later:)

This week's blogger of the week from last weeks link up is the gorgeous Chioma of Chioma's Evolution of Style! First off, how seriously BEAUTIFUL is her hair?! I'm pretty much obsessed with her stunning curls. This was the perfect 4th of July outfit, as the blue and white stripe dress pop amazingly with her red shoes. Not to mention that unexpected yellow bag! I love it! You look absolutely stunning, sweet girl! I have definitely found a new blog to check regularly!
