How to Wear Overalls: Casual Meets Chic + #WIWT

Overalls: Free People // Top: Old Navy (on sale for $10!) // Sweater: c/o Joyworks //
Shoes: Nordstrom BP 'Trolley' // Necklace: c/o Taudrey // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Sunnies: Ray-Ban //
I have been obsessed with overalls for a few years now. I got these a couple years ago for my birthday and they have become a staple in my wardrobe. I often have people tell me they struggle with styling them, but I truly think they are one of the easiest pieces to style...just think of them as a unique pair of jeans!
Starting today, every Thursday this March, I will be sharing a different way I style overalls.

Today's look is a casual way I would style them for running errands or for a Friday at work! Pairing them with a nicer tee and a sweater is an easy way that is laid-back but not too casual. I dress it up a bit more by cuffing the legs and adding a pair of heeled booties. Swapping out the shoes for a pair of sneakers would give this outfit a totally different vibe!

This look has been on repeat way too often lately. Every piece is something I wear FREQUENTLY.

White tank: The epitome of a perfect white tank. Flowy and lightweight. A classic piece to wear all year round.

Cardigan: Slouchy perfection! Literally my FAVORITE cardigan ever. I only wish I would have purchased it sooner! It's a great weight and has the perfect amount of slouch...if you know what I mean!

Jeans: I wear these jeans at least once or twice a week. I'm even considering buying another pair just to throw into rotation. That's how much I wear them! Such a great buy at under $100!

Flats: Another great purchase. I wear these everywhere! And yes, they are super comfortable!

Coat: A great transition coat. The colors are light enough for Spring, but it's warm enough for those last chilly Winter days!

Pastel Herringbone Scarf

Top: ASOS // Scarf: ASOS // Pants: Nordstrom, also love these // Shoes: Steve Madden (almost identical option here for $25!) // Sunnies: Illesteva via Ditto - try DITTO for 1 month free! Use code 'TWENTIESGIRLSTYLE// Bag: Tory Burch, similar // Bracelet: Taudrey //
It's that time of year again. It's not quite Spring, but Winter is on it's way out. I'm dying to put away my heavy jackets and boots, but it's not quite warm enough to do so just yet! I've been drawn to lighter, Spring colors, and have filled my cravings for these by shopping for warmer pieces in this color palette. This scarf immediately caught my eye for the pastel palette, but I love that it is warm enough for the chilly leftover Winter days. This long sleeve top (which is more grey, but coming off lilac) is a piece I can wear all Spring and Summer long. It's long sleeve, but lightweight enough to wear on a chilly Spring day or Summer evening.
