Floral + White

Top: Forever 21 (old) // Skirt: Topshop 'Scallop Hem' // Shoes: Dolce Vita 'Nessah' //
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff 'Mab Mini' (Currently on sale!!) // Sunnies: Illesteva via Ditto // Necklace:  Taudrey 'Mini Coin Pineapple' necklace c/o //

This month, I have challenged myself to not buy anything new and get better at shopping my own closet. This can be the extreme challenge for those of us who love to shop (hello, my fellow shopaholics), but I was excited to pull out some pieces that hadn't seen the light of day in awhile (and to save some money after the damage the Nordstrom sale did to my wallet last month).

This top was one I picked up at Forever 21 a few years ago, but you can get the look by shopping some of these fabulous floral options here. Typically, Forever 21 pieces are not ones that have a very long closet life, but I was still drawn in to the bright floral print and flowy fit, so this one continues to make it past my closet purges. Pairing it with my favorite scallop hem skirt was a must. The bright yellow and blue really popped against the crisp white! I kept things fresh by adding my favorite white crossbody and my Illesteva sunnies courtesy of Ditto.

If you haven't heard of Ditto, you are missing out!! Probably my new favorite subscription service, Ditto allows you to try out new sunnies for just $19 a month! This is the perfect solution to those who love to change out your sunglass style often or if you are in the market for a new pair but are not sure of the style you want! Try Ditto out with the code 'TWENTIESGIRLSTYLE' for your first month free!

Back to School with Mikarose

Dress: 'Maya' Maxi c/o Mikarose // Vest: American Eagle (old) similar here and here // Bag: Tory Burch c/o // Shoes: Jack Rogers 'Lauren' in White // Hat: Target // Bracelets: Bauble Bar 'Pave Carrie Cuff' and Taudrey 'Roman Numeral Cuff' c/o  // Earrings: Bauble Bar 'Volcano Drops' c/o  //

I can't believe that it is already mid-August. This summer has flown by and in just a few weeks time I will head back to work. I can't lie, while I am a summer girl through and through, I am just a little excited to start wearing my favorite fall pieces again! This cargo vest has been one of my staples for a few years now. I got so excited when we had a chillier summer day and I could pull it out. It paired so perfectly over my Mikarose maxi dress! This is definitely an outfit I will be wearing in September to school. It is the perfect teacher-outfit as it is comfy and modest! I am loving a lot of the clothing over at Mikarose for the modesty factor. As a first grade teacher, I need clothes that are easy to move in while still being professional and I am blown away by all of the fantastic options Mikarose has to offer!

This outfit is one I will re-create often and you can too! I've linked a bunch of similar military vest options below and check out all of the adorable maxi dress options here!

Lace & Off the Shoulder

Dress: c/o Chicwish  // Shoes: Dolce Vita 'Nessah' // Hat: Target // Sunnies: Ray-ban //
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff  //

In all of the craziness the past month, I completely forgot to post these photos. Imagine my surprise, when scrolling through my computer files I stumble across these. Oops! Better late than never!

You may have seen this dress make an appearance (or two...or three) on my instagram. It's definitely been one of my favorites this summer because it is white (so bridal...remember this post?), lace and off the shoulder. 3 of my favorite things rolled in to one! Not to mention, it's under $50!

Loving this trend too?? Check out more white off the shoulder dresses here

This week's blogger of the week from last week's link-up is Sheree of Posh Classy Mom. Obviously I am obsessing over Sheree's white crochet off the shoulder top. I love that she paired it with a navy hi-low skirt. Does she not look absolutely chic???

Link-up with Jalynn, of The Red Closet Diary, and I for our weekly #WIWT link-up!

Everyday Dress

Dress: c/o Shein (similar here and here) // Hat: Target // Bag: Tory Burch c/o // Sandals: Jack Rogers 'Lauren'  // Necklace: Bauble Bar  // Ring: Kendra Scott //

Hello friends!
I am so sorry for the inconsistent blogging lately! Honestly, it has been hard getting back into the swing of things after the wedding and honeymoon! I've currently been spending my days settling in to our new place, which has turned in to a gigantic disaster zone. I am such a perfectionist when it comes to setting things up and I like things in their forever home the first time I put them away. This makes for quite the mess as things are literally scattered everywhere while I decided and spend time considering where their perfect forever home should be. Give me a week and I will hopefully have everything in order! Anybody else like this?

On top of all of this, I head back to work soon, which will cause blogging inconsistency again as I settle in to a new school year. I will be spending some time working out a new blogging schedule that works well alongside work AND being a newlywed. That's right...got to make some time for hubby too:)

This outfit has been one of my go to's lately! I love that I can throw this little printed dress on and automatically look put together! I have been wearing my hat almost every day as well, as I find it is the perfect cover for not wearing makeup or doing my hair. Thank goodness for hat days!
