Printed Mini

Dress: c/o Shein // Bag: Sole Society (old) - love these fringe bag options here // Hat: Roxy (old) - more floppy hat options here // Booties: BP 'Trolley' boots in cognac // Necklace: Bauble Bar 'Arrowhead Pendant' c/o //

What do you do when it's fall and still 80 degrees?? You wear something light and breezy in fall shades of course! Just when I thought the weather was cooling down, it heats up again to the 80's. It makes wearing fall clothing some what impossible, as layering scarfs and sweaters only makes for a sweltering day. However, the forecast is calling for dropping temps in the next few days, so maybe fall weather really is just around the corner!
You know I'm a true summer girl, so I really don't mind the warm days! This little dress was the perfect  transition dress as it has a fun print with a good mix of cool and warm colors! I paired it with a maroon floppy hat and my all time favorite booties. I swear I wear these booties more than any other shoe in my closet! They recently just re-stocked them, so I definitely recommend getting a pair!

This week's blogger of the week from last week's link up is Mae of Mae Amor! I am in absolute love with Mae's look from head to toe! She looks so chic in in printed blouse and grey mules (can I add these to my wardrobe ASAP?!). This is an outfit I will be repeating ASAP! Such a wonderful fall look, Mae!

Little Printed Shift Dress featuring Antique Garden

This summer, I have added quite a few little shift dresses to my wardrobe! There is something so easy about these dresses, as they are effortless and a breezy way to beat the heat! I have really been looking for ones with longer hemlines so I can wear them the first few weeks back to school. I am definitely planning on repeating this outfit (minus the hat) when I meet my new first graders!
This option from Antique Garden has the cutest print and cutouts in the front and the back. I have been obsessed with Antique Garden lately! They currently have the cutest pieces for fall that really have me excited for chillier weather!

This week's blogger of the week from last week's link up is Onyinye of Modavracha! I am in love with this babe's full skirt and how she paired it with a white tee to really show off the fabulous print! Not to mention, how chic are those sunnies and side-braid?? You look absolutely stunning, girl!

Everyday Dress

Dress: c/o Shein (similar here and here) // Hat: Target // Bag: Tory Burch c/o // Sandals: Jack Rogers 'Lauren'  // Necklace: Bauble Bar  // Ring: Kendra Scott //

Hello friends!
I am so sorry for the inconsistent blogging lately! Honestly, it has been hard getting back into the swing of things after the wedding and honeymoon! I've currently been spending my days settling in to our new place, which has turned in to a gigantic disaster zone. I am such a perfectionist when it comes to setting things up and I like things in their forever home the first time I put them away. This makes for quite the mess as things are literally scattered everywhere while I decided and spend time considering where their perfect forever home should be. Give me a week and I will hopefully have everything in order! Anybody else like this?

On top of all of this, I head back to work soon, which will cause blogging inconsistency again as I settle in to a new school year. I will be spending some time working out a new blogging schedule that works well alongside work AND being a newlywed. That's right...got to make some time for hubby too:)

This outfit has been one of my go to's lately! I love that I can throw this little printed dress on and automatically look put together! I have been wearing my hat almost every day as well, as I find it is the perfect cover for not wearing makeup or doing my hair. Thank goodness for hat days!
