Mustard Sweater

I'm stepping out of my recent neutral phase for this gorgeous mustard sweater. When I don't know what to wear, blacks skinnies and a bright sweater are fail proof, no matter the season. This chunky  knit sweater is cozy and cute. I adore the subtle detail and the fun, blousy sleeves. I've noticed a few sweaters this season in this gorgeous color and want to add them all to my wardrobe!

Oversized Turtleneck

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you had a great 3 day weekend! I always enjoy weekends, but this weekend was bitterly cold and I caught a cold, making me wish I had an extension to my weekend. 3 more days would be perfect, please! We went to shoot TWICE this weekend, but both times didn't work out so well. I think the universe was trying to tell me to just take the weekend off.

This is an outfit I wore last weekend, and have already re-worn it twice. This oversized sweater is PERFECT for the under 20 degree weather we have been having. I can layer a long sleeve top under it (or maybe two) and stay perfectly cozy all day long. Oversized sweaters have been saving my life this winter. Guys, it is SO cold. I am so over it. Spring, please!!

One piece I have been wearing non-stop is this perfectly oversized cardigan. Is there anything better than an oversized cardigan?! It's like wrapping up in a cocoon on a cold winter day and I LOVE it! In fact, I've been wearing a similar combo for the past two weeks because it's ensures I stay warm. It's been in the 20s or below and I have had such a difficult time leaving my house! Layering up to the point of actually breaking a sweat before heading out the front door is my go to lately. When I get to work in the morning, I have to peel off layers of coats, vests (yes, I wear a North Face vest UNDER my jacket...I am so ridiculous) and scarves. Whatever keeps you warm though, right??

Anybody else already ready for spring?!

When you don't know what to wear, black is always the answer. There is nothing easier than pairing all black pieces to create an easy and chic outfit. I recently purchased these faux leather leggings and am loving trading my skinny jeans and leggings for these! They add a little extra to your outfit and I LOVE pairing them with OTK boots! These leggings are under $30, but run large, so size down (maybe even two sizes!).
