Instagram Roundup + My Christmas Wish List

Happy Monday!
It's my last week of work before winter break! I've got some fun things planned for my first graders, including a Gingerbread hunt! We've been reading Gingerbread Man/Girl/etc. stories all December, and two stuffed cookies have been hiding in our classroom (think Elf on the Shelf). I love seeing their faces light up as they enter the room and try to spot where the cookies have moved to. There is definitely magic in the air! I'm planning a little gingerbread hunt of our own on Thursday or Friday...it should be fun! Wish me luck...despite all of the holiday cheer, those kiddos can get a little crazy this time of year!

Today I am sharing my Christmas wish list and an instagram round up of some of my most recent posts! Shop my wish list by just clicking the items in the collage!

Sweater // scarf // similar mittens // pom hat
Cozy knits are my jam. They make the cold weather just a bit more bearable. This scarf is a MUST have! You may have noticed it's on my wish list above in a different color. This is a scarf I wouldn't own in every color!

I recently re-posted this look from this summer because hello, how perfect would this dress be for the holidays?! Pair it with my favorite heeled sandals (now on sale) and a fun clutch (wouldn't something like this be fun for the holidays?), and you are holiday party ready!

Sweater // Jeans // Boots // Bag // Pom Beanie
I won't lie...I've had this outfit on repeat since Thanksgiving! This bell sleeve turtleneck sweater is so cozy and on trend. Gift it to your trendy bestie or sister, then do yourself a favor and buy these grey skinnies! Hands down my favorite pants at the moment. Under $100 and fit like a dream. Do size up though, because they run small.

This beanie is the CUTEST and so cozy! It's on sale for just $25 and would make the perfect gift! I am pretty obsessed with the grey and may be adding it to my wishlist!

A holiday dress that can be dressed up or down is a must have during this season. This sweet knit version comes in two colors and is perfect for layering (as seen here)!

 Sweater // Bag // Jeans
A cozy sweater that you can live in. The best part? It's just $40!

This is what I wore on our hunt to find the perfect Christmas tree. This cardigan sweater is hands down my favorite. I have had it since June, and wear it SO often. It's perfect for holiday travel. I've taken this on a few flights and some long car rides and it never fails. Perfect for a chilly plane ride as you can snuggle up in it, or take it off and turn it into a pillow. Either way, it's one of my travel favorites!

Cozy Weekend Wear and the Perfect Black Boots with Payless ShoeSource

I am ALWAYS looking for boots that I can take from work to the weekend! They have to be able to easily be dressed up or down and they MUST be comfortable!  This time of year, I look for cute boots to wear for all of the holiday festivities, whether it's for a laid-back holiday work function, or Christmas shopping with my sister's on the weekend. Like any girl, I also love variety. Who wants to wear the same shoes day after day? That is why I love Payless ShoeSource. I can find all of the latest trends and stock up on a few pairs without breaking the bank!

A black shoe is good for SO many occasions...especially during the holidays! I love a classic pair of ankle booties like these zip ankle boots for day to day wear. They look adorable with jeans or black skinnies and can be easily paired with a festive sweater and scarf for a day of shopping or dinner with your bestie who is in town for the holidays! These over the knee boots are super on trend and are the perfect pair to have in your closet over the holidays! They are wonderful for throwing on with leggings and an oversized sweater for a coffee date or pair with a mini skirt and moto jacket for a cool date night look! If it's a little heel you crave, check out these block heel booties. Pair these with a pair of skinny jeans and a soft sweater for a holiday pub crawl or a double date.

The best thing about all of these fabulous black boots? They are ALL under $40 at Payless! So pick up your favorite pair for the holidays...or maybe even all three. I won't tell!

Cozy Cream Sweater

Get the Look

Guys...it's snowing.
I enjoy snow best when I am snuggled up with a blanket, sipping hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie.
Although I have to tell you, when my first grade kiddos discovered it was snowing yesterday, it kind of melted my heart. We were lining up for lunch, and one student happened to glance out the window. "IT'S SNOWING," she screamed and I watched 21 first graders flock to the windows. They seemed to lose their minds for about 30 seconds as a few ran around screaming while others jumped up and down. I had to smile. Oh the joys of snow when you are 7 years old. "Okay...okay," I laughed as I tried to get them to calm down. Finally I told them we would celebrate by doing a snow dance. "Dance like a snowflake! But snowflakes don't talk, so shhhhh!" They took this very seriously and it was SO cute. Do you remember the joy you felt when you were little on the first snow fall of the season?

PS this sweater is perfect for snuggling up and watching the snow fall and it's currently on sale! It comes in 5 colors and is perfectly oversized (I'm wearing an XS) and ridiculously cozy!
