When I saw this striped midi dress, it immediately went into my cart. I knew it would be the perfect piece to transition from summer to fall. As the weather has been warmer, I have loved wearing it by itself, or with a light jacket. It's a comfortable dress with a flattering silhouette and looks great with a simple pair of sandals and a cross-body bag. When the weather gets cooler, I can definitely see throwing on a chunky sweater or cardigan, some great booties and a wool floppy hat. The stripes are rich colors that are perfect for fall and the midi length is great because it doesn't expose too much skin to the crisp autumn air!

One of the trends I am loving most this fall is suede. From dresses to skirts to bags, you can find suede everywhere. One of my favorite ways to bring this trend in is with a jacket. When I saw this jacket as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July, I purchased it immediately. Be ready to see a ton of it in the next few months...it goes with everything and I love how it can complete just about any look! It definitely spices up this jeans and sleeveless sweater combo.

Flirty Red Dress

There is nothing better than a little red dress. There is just something about a bright red number that boosts my confidence and makes me feel like a million bucks. I was never a huge fan of red, but recently fell in love when I discovered the confidence boosting powers this fierce color can hold. 

This little red number is the ultimate LRD. It's off the shoulder, but what I adore most are the flirty frilly details around the neck and shoulders. I've been loving simpler styling, with minimalistic jewelry and love that this dress looks fabulous with just a printed clutch and a pair of lace up sandals. This is definitely my new date night dress!

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! I'm coming off my three days of R&R relaxed and ready to start this 4 day week! 

Even though it's not the OFFICIAL end of summer (September 22nd), Labor Day always feels like the end. It's the last summer hurrah before the weather really starts to turn and the leaves begin to fall. Therefore, I took this opportunity to really go out in style and wear my summer best!
