Becoming the Garza's: First Look & Bridal Party

Sharing our second batch of wedding photos today (see getting ready photos here)...the first look and some of our bridal party! 

We got married in our home town at the beautiful venue, Hampton Hideaway. Tucked away in the mountains, it had the orchard trees and open space that I always craved, along with my reception must...a rustic barn. I was never one to plan out my wedding, but I did have two MUSTS...a barn for reception and a flower crown. 

Our wedding took place on possibly the hottest summer day of the year, with temps reaching over 100 degrees. It was hot and muggy and my sister did an amazing job of capturing these images despite us complaining about the heat. It was unbelievably hot! However, as I held E's hand around the side of the barn, getting ready to see him for the first time as his bride, the heat melted away and all I saw was him. It was a truly magical moment! I definitely recommend doing a first look if you have the chance!

Happy Tuesday!

Today's post is up a little later than usual! I took the day off yesterday to celebrate E and I's one year anniversary! I will be sharing some more photos from the wedding tomorrow, but had to share this sweet floral mini with you today! Paired with lace up sandals and a sweet mini crossbody bag, this look is perfect for a summer day or even as wedding guest attire! 

People are always asking me where to shop. While I have my standard places I always ramble off, I am constantly looking for new boutiques and stores to share. I am excited to share today as I think I have found my newest boutique obsession, RaeLynn's Boutique! You know it's good when you are literally obsessed with EVERYTHING in the store! Becoming the Garza's: Getting Ready

Today marks E and I's one year anniversary! I can't believe we have been married for a whole year! While I shared our engagement story and pictures here and here, I never shared our wedding photos! This week in honor of our one year anniversary, I will be sharing our photos in a few installments! Today, are some getting ready photos! I'm leaving it short and simple today, but will fill you in on some of the wedding details on Wednesday!
