Sharing our second batch of wedding photos today (see getting ready photos here)...the first look and some of our bridal party!
We got married in our home town at the beautiful venue, Hampton Hideaway. Tucked away in the mountains, it had the orchard trees and open space that I always craved, along with my reception must...a rustic barn. I was never one to plan out my wedding, but I did have two MUSTS...a barn for reception and a flower crown.
Our wedding took place on possibly the hottest summer day of the year, with temps reaching over 100 degrees. It was hot and muggy and my sister did an amazing job of capturing these images despite us complaining about the heat. It was unbelievably hot! However, as I held E's hand around the side of the barn, getting ready to see him for the first time as his bride, the heat melted away and all I saw was him. It was a truly magical moment! I definitely recommend doing a first look if you have the chance!
This outfit was the perfect outfit for traveling when Ernie and I went on our mini-moon to Victoria, Canada at the beginning of the month. Soft jogger pants are my new go-to when I know I will be spending lots of time in a car or on a plane. This patterned pair caught my eye at Target. I loved the color combo and fun print and the price couldn't be beat (under $25)! Pairing them with a white tank and a denim jacket (it was much cooler in Victoria than I expected), was the perfect comfy and casual outfit for our day of traveling and our first night out!
A few weekends ago, my sweet bridesmaids threw me the cutest bridal shower, themed after one of my favorite songs, Pineapple Princess. We didn't get many photos, but I had to share the few we did as the theme was adorable. We had an enormous spread of brunch foods (bagels, pastries, fruit...) and enjoyed mimosas and infused water. The crafty girls that they are, they got there craft on with some adorable tassel pieces that I am also planning on hanging at the wedding for photo ops!
My crafty besties. These girls sure know how to get their craft on!
My little sister and I will do just about anything for a good picture.
My sweet sisters! Thanks for taking the photos Haley!
My Maid of Honor/Bestie since the 4th grade. We have an album dedicated to jumping photos.
My favorite little flower girl.

This weeks blog of the week from last weeks link-up is Rebecca of Red Tag Chic Los Angeles! I am loving the bold floral pattern of this maxi dress and love that she paired it with a vibrant lip and matching sunnies! Such a fun summertime look!

There is nothing better than a little floral romper! This particular number comes from Anjouil's Boutique, and it might just be the cutest romper ever. I am obsessed with the layered top, which makes this romper look like it is a two piece set. It's comfortable and cute and I could wear it just about anywhere! It has been my go to throw on piece for wedding errands lately as it is easy to put on and style but still adorable! This is my first piece from Anjouil's, but I already know it won't be my last! They have SO many cute pieces! I find myself wanting literally everything on the site...you know you are in trouble when that happens!
I think one of the best parts about being a bride is having the excuse to wear white literally all the time! I have a good stash of white dresses in my closet (see a few below), but I have definitely spent hours scouring the internet for the perfect white dresses and white separates to add to my closet for any necessary bride to be outings and occasions! I have rounded up some of my favorite styles and pieces ( a few of which I own...or wish I owned!) for you, whether you are looking for something to wear to a rehearsal dinner or shower or just something white to wear on any day so people know you're a bride! Just click the picture below of the item you love to shop it!
Exposed Shoulder
Anybody else obsessing over the cold shoulder or off the shoulder trend? It's been one of my favorite trends to wear this summer, so of course it would extend to my little white dress collection!
Detailed
Whether you are going for lace, crochet or cut outs, sometimes a little white dress with details is all you need to make a statement!
Printed
A printed white dress can be a fun option. Stripes, florals, polka dots...so many choices!
