Spring Basics

Sweater: Nordstrom // Pants: Similar here and here // Shoes: DV by Dolce Vita //
Earrings: c/o Bauble Bar // Bag: Tory Burch, also love this //

Happy Spring!
Anybody else so excited that winter is officially over?? I've been counting down the days! I've officially packed away my winter things and swapped them for my favorite spring and summer pieces! Unfortunately, the weather doesn't just warm up overnight, so I still have to be aware of those chilly spring days! This sweater was such a great purchase for spring and I have already worn it too many times to count! I love how oversized it is and know I can tuck it in to jeans or denim shorts this summer! It's ridiculously soft too! I paired it with white jeans, some super cute statement earrings, and my favorite suede lace-up wedges. I can already tell that these are going to get a ton of wear! I love the lace-up detailing, but most importantly they are REALLY comfortable!

PS I've been doing a little spring cleaning and have added a ton of new or gently used clothing to my instagram closet account, @shoptgscloset.

How to Wear Overalls: Dressed Up Overalls + WIWT Link Up

Overalls: Free People (Brady wash) // Top: Lush, just bought this one //
Shoes: Similar, more heeled sandal options here //
Necklace: Taudrey // Sunnies: Illesteva // Clutch: Clare V. //

For part 3 of my How to Wear Overalls Series (part 1 || part 2), I'm sharing a dressier option that's not TOO dressy! I wore a similar look last week that featured a sequined jacket. Without the jacket, this look is still chic and perfect for a laid back night out.

This top was one of my favorite fall purchases that I still wear frequently. It's such a great top to dress up or down and it goes with EVERYTHING. I recently got this version which will be perfect for warmer temps this spring and summer and would work just as well paired with overalls!

Recreate this look with any blouse, heeled sandals and fun clutch!
PS pardon the weird marks on my feet...I had lace up wedges on before these...does this ever happen to anyone else?! Haha

The official first day of Spring is this Sunday and I could not be more ready! My closet has been overtaken by brights and sweet pastels and I am more than ready for the warmer weather coming this way. I've been really drawn to layering neutral colors, especially blush, grey and cream.
The moment I saw this dress from ShopJoyworks, I fell in LOVE. This sweet cream crochet dress can be styled a million different ways. The detailing down the middle adds the sweetest touch and I love the ruffled hemline!

Little Grey T-shirt Dress

Dress:  c/o Obsession Boutique  / // Scarf: c/o Shein  // Jacket: Old, similar here and here  //
Bag: Luana Italy // Sunnies:  // Shoes: Nordstrom BP 'Trolley'

Every girl needs a good T-shirt dress in her closet! They can be worn year round, whether in the winter with leggings and boots, or in the summer with a pair of sandals or converse. It was a little chillier than expected this weekend, but I was dying to wear this PERFECT grey t-shirt dress (literally, it's perfect). I decided to opt for pairing it with booties, a scarf and a denim jacket to make sure I was warm enough. This is one of my favorite ways to style a t-shirt dress for Spring. In fact, I even wear similar outfits in the summer, only with a lighter weight scarf.

Anybody else ready to swap out their cold weather pieces for good? I feel like I pull out something springy only to have to put on my boots and a sweater. I guess that's spring though, you never know which way the weather will go! If you a craving a good spring dress, you MUST check out Obsession Boutique. They have some of the cutest pieces right now that I am dying to wear. How perfect would this long sleeve option be for a vacation, or this sweet cream tank dress for Easter?
