I am not going to lie, I've had this shirt for some time and have been waiting (rather impatiently) to wear it. 

Details on the big day to come...but now I'm heading off on our honeymoon with my new husband (that's weird to say).

Wedding Week: UP! Engagement - Part 2

 A few months back, I shared my first set of Engagement photos (here). Those photos were mostly for the save the dates, but I knew I wanted something a little more fun to put around at the wedding reception. As a HUGE Disney fanatic, I had this idea that loosely involved one of my favorite Disney/Pixar films, UP! I told my photographer/sister about it, we grabbed a bunch of balloons and decided to bring the idea to life. 

I could not be more thrilled with the way these photos turned out! I love that they are pretty simplistic (I wanted a VERY simple background) and the center focus is us. These photos will be displayed at our wedding reception (see below) THIS WEEKEND. 

Yes, that's right...I am getting married August 1st! This will be my last post before becoming a Mrs. so I thought it only fitting to leave you with these!

#WIWT + Wedding Week: Bridal Shower!

A few weekends ago, my sweet bridesmaids threw me the cutest bridal shower, themed after one of my favorite songs, Pineapple Princess. We didn't get many photos, but I had to share the few we did as the theme was adorable. We had an enormous spread of brunch foods (bagels, pastries, fruit...) and enjoyed mimosas and infused water. The crafty girls that they are, they got there craft on with some adorable tassel pieces that I am also planning on hanging at the wedding for photo ops!
