Shop My Closet: Garden Party Skirt

I recently cleaned out my closet and am in the process of adding pieces to my online shop, Shop Twenties Girl Style. I have decided the best way to go about this is to show you 1 way I've styled the piece that I'm selling (I did this last year in this post). It also helps to see how it fits a real person, rather than when it's just photographed hanging on a hanger! Stay tuned for more Shop my Closet posts, or check out what else is for sale HERE.

**All pieces for sale are in great condition (never worn or worn a handful of times) and come from a clean, smoke free environment:)

Originally from: Forever 21
Worn once and in great condition!

Neons scream summer. Thats why pairing this neon lime dress with this gorgeous t + j designs necklace was a no brainer. The lime paired with the turquoise made for a perfectly bright combo for a dinner date.
When t+j designs contacted me, I was beyond excited. I have seen their jewels floating around the blogging community, and was eager to style them. When I received my necklace and bracelets, I automatically fell in love with t+j designs. They have a fan for life in me! Not only are the pieces great quality, but they are really unique designs at affordable prices, and they have just about any pretty bauble you can imagine to completely ANY outfit!
Check out t+j designs, for some drool-worthy pieces (I am currently OBSESSED with their lucite collection),  you will be dying to add to your collection! Oh, and a little bonus? Sign up for their mailing list and receive 20% off your next purchase!

How We Wore Our Stripes

If you have been following my blog, you know that I ADORE Marsa from The DayLee Journal. She's my blogging bestie and has made appearance on Twenties Girl Style HERE and HERE, so don't be surprised if you see her around these parts more often! She's absolutely adorable and has one of the cutest blogs EVER. Stop by and say hello!
Stripes are one of my favorite patterns EVER. So it's fitting that we would choose this as our How We Wore collar. Everyone should have a great striped piece in their closet! Notice we even had a twinning moment with our sunnies and gold triangle jewels.

Visit Marsa at The DayLee Journal to see more of how she styled her stripes!

A Whole New World

Before you read, press play and sing along.
You won't be disappointed:)
Dress: 'Kiss Me Ombre Maxi' - Tobi (currently out of stock) - Join Tobi.com HERE for 50% off your first order
Shoes: DV by Dolce Vita (last year)- IDENTICAL version available at Target HERE

I've shown you my Pocahontas inspired outfit (HERE), so it's only fitting that the moment I put this outfit on I would feel like another one of my favorite Disney princesses, Jasmine. Does this outfit not beg to be worn on a magic carpet ride under the night sky with handsome Aladdin by your side? Yeah, so maybe it's just me, but that's probably because I'm 12 at heart. Whatevs. I totally dig it.

Back in June, I saw this dress on Tobi.com and fell in love. The problem, I was totally broke at the time, but after sleeping on it, I could not get it off my mind. Seriously, how pathetic is that? I know you all totally know exactly what I'm talking about though ;). Anyways, I caved and ended up spending the last bit of my self-allotted monthly allowance on it. That left me totally broke for the rest of the month, but by golly, it was totally worth it.
How gorgeous is this necklace from SHY Boutique?? I fell in love with this bold statement piece and now have a new go to favorite in the necklace department! I knew I had a match made in heaven when I paired this necklace with the maxi. The subtle ombre maxi paired with the bold, colorful statement necklace created a new outfit favorite that I want to wear every single night. I finished the outfit with a pair of neutral wedges and my new favorite chain link bracelets from t&j designs (be prepared to see A LOT of these...I don't think I will ever take them off). It doesn't hurt that I totally feel like a princess in this combo:)

I am excited to introduce you to SHY Boutique, a online boutique specializing in trendy, statement jewelry. I love that they offer AFFORDABLE trendy options inspired by the latest jewelry crazes from big name stores with out the hefty price tag(J.Crew anyone?).

Get excited, because Shy Boutique is offering Twenties Girl Style reader's a 30% off discount, along with free shipping when you use the code TGS30! Be sure to check out their fantastic selection of jewels!!
