Walk Together featuring Naturalizer

In honor of Mother's Day this weekend, I am so excited to get to introduce you to MY mom! I had so much fun shooting this post with her as she is usually behind the scenes! This woman is amazing and inspires me every day. She is truly my best friend and I love spending time with her, whether it's shopping, or sitting on the couch (I also love sharing accessories and shoes...is there anything better?).

Mother's Day has always been a special affair in my household! My whole family gets together to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives! We gather at a local park and spend the day eating good food, playing frisbee and volleyball and enjoying the sunshine and each others company! It's something to look forward to every year! 

Naturalizer is declaring May 7th as "Walk Together Day." A day to celebrate, honor and thank the important women in our lives! I am beyond excited to spend the day celebrating with the woman who inspires me most!

I am beyond thrilled that it is finally February. 

January was a pretty blah month, with lots of cold weather (including snow) and grey, dreary days. I get to spend some time in California at the end of December/beginning of January, which was definitely my biggest highlight. I also broke my phone at the end of December and spent a lot of the month of January having to borrow my husband's phone to snap instagram photos. Luckily I get a new phone this week...yay!

Confession time. I clearly cannot stop wearing my white denim this winter, as documented here and here. It's easy to wear and goes with just about anything, making it easy for these to be one of the first pieces I grab when getting dressed. 

I love a great striped shirt, so it was a no-brainer to pair it with my favorite pair of white jeans. This camel vest was the perfect addition to top off the look. It's such a fun piece and I love the way it flows. The best part? It's only $15...a total steal!! I definitely recommend adding this little number into your wardrobe to throw in to your winter mix!

Happy Tuesday! 

Is anybody else excited for January to be over? This January in particular has just dragged on. It seems like such a blah month, especially as it lands right after the holidays. I'm ready to move on and move toward warmer weather!

Stripes and plaid just happens to be my all time favorite combo. Plaids and stripes are so easy to mix and match and tend to have a re-occurring role in my day to day outfits. This plaid scarf has been on repeat since I purchased it this fall. It goes with everything and is so cozy for the winter weather andddd they just re-stocked it!
