Monday is here again.... 

Does anybody else feel like the weekend passes way top quickly?? And speaking of things passing quickly, can you believe that it's already November??! I'm blown away that we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few short weeks! 

Today I am sharing one of my favorite work looks. I have worn this dress countless times and love how versatile it is! I wore it frequently this summer with wedges or converse, but it has transitioned so perfectly for fall with the addition of a chunky sweater and riding boots. For a chillier fall day, I might even throw on a pair of leggings or tights and a scarf. 

My favorite part of this outfit?? This gorgeous Taudrey necklace! I got to design this piece with the Taudrey squad and could not be more pleased with how they turned my vision into reality! I have been wearing this necklace non-stop as it is the perfect layered piece. It literally goes with anything and everything! Little Blue Dress + Dealing with Grief

 So I'm posting this little blue dress today, and I could tell you about how much I adore it and how well it fits, like I had planned, but I just erased all of that because I have to share what's really on my mind.

This weekend, my family's sweet dog, Bentley, was hit by a car and he did not make it. My family has been absolutely devastated by the loss of him. Isn't it crazy how a little animal can make such an impact on your life? I know it may seem silly, but he truly was a family member. He had the best personality and I am going to miss him so much. I feel broken hearted over knowing I won't see his sweet underbite or big brown eyes again and am repeatedly going over "what if" scenarios in my mind. I know that I am just grieving and that eventually I won't feel this terrible sadness, but it's so hard!! All dog's go to Heaven, right?

This dress has quickly become one of my go to's! With the ridiculously hot weather we've been having, I've been opting for light-weight, airy pieces. This dress is the perfect summer dress as it meets all of those requirements! I am in love with the off the shoulder trend and how easy to wear this dress is! The embroidery is adorable, but what really sold me was the light-weight cotton that makes this dress the ultimate 100 degree day dress! This dress currently comes in 3 colors, and I am definitely thinking purchasing one in each would be an investment!
