 Guys! It's been sunny and warm, and although I don't want to jinx it, I think winter weather might officially be behind us! Yay! In celebration of sunshine and 55 degrees, I've been rocking lots of pastels, cute sunnies and pink lips. I wanted to add a touch of girly to my overalls, and a little pastel pop was perfect. I am obsessing over this Accessory Concierge necklace (by far my new favorite accessory boutique!) It's the perfect girly glam piece!

Another piece of obsessing over? This adorable bow bracelet from BumbleDot shop! I've been wanting a cute bow bracelet forever. I really think it's the absolute perfect way to tie in a bit of girly to any outfit. These pictures don't even do this adorable bow bracelet justice as it is 10 times cuter in person! At only $13, you should definitely pick up one...or two:) Expect to see a few more of these cuties on the blog soon!

This weekend the boyfriend and I went on a little adventure to the coast with some college friends. It was over a 5 hour drive down, and horrifically enough we just happened to get stuck in traffic. Being from a small town, the most traffic we ever see is having to wait at a light through 2 greens, so moving at barely a crawl for over an hour was tough. Ernie, being impatient as he is, even mentioned he was ready to give up and desert the car and start walking. I definitely had a case of the antsy pants. I don't know how all of you from big cities do it!!!! Anyways, we arrived to the ocean and had a perfect, relaxing time. The ocean was beautiful, despite the weather being slightly colder than I had planned on.

Through this entire adventure, I only walked away with 2 iPhone pictures...one being a blurry ocean picture, and the other a far off instagram shot where you can't even see faces. Blah! I am horrible at capturing moments on film! It's not that I don't want pictures, I just get distracted and forget! Weird considering my life sort of revolves around taking pictures...hmmm. Any tips or tricks for solving this issue?!

What i've been up to = not a whole lot. It seems like i've been working a ton lately! As my long term subbing jobs have ended, I'm back to day to day sub jobs. I get to meet A LOT of interesting kids this way, which makes for an interesting day, every day. I am also still working a part time job 1-2 times a week in the evenings. It makes for a long day on the days I sub, but it definitely keeps me busy! I get a little grumpy on those days, and I feel bad for the people around me who have to put up with me...especially my boyfriend. Thanks for putting up with me, E! 

 For my date night look featuring this perfect t, I traded my holey jeans and booties for heels and black skinnies. I could have easily kept the same necklace on, but liked the contrast of this one. Adding the most adorable bow clutch from ShopMCE, I was ready for a dinner date with the boy. Thank goodness for clothing that is easy to transition for any occasion!

 My favorite pieces in my closet tend to be basics that I can style a million different ways. This flowy purple tee is no different. The vibrant color packs the perfect punch to jazz up any outfit and it has a flattering fit, but is still ridiculously comfortable. I love that I can wear this top to run errands, for date night, or just with yoga pants and tennis shoes! I decided I would show you how I took this top from day to night!

For running errands, I paired it with my favorite vest,  jeans, booties and a pretty statement necklace. This vest is awesome and I would totally recommend it! I always get tons of compliments on it and people are usually surprised it's from Forever 21! It's even currently on sale...seriously, go get it!

I am currently crushing on bold colored handbags. I think they are the perfect pop for spring and summer! I actually recently purchased my own colorful bag and I'm SO excited to share it on the blog!

There is something so perfect about a cool graphic t. When I received this infamous little t from Flourish Boutique, I discovered a million and one ways to wear it, ensuing a wild search across the inter web for other cool graphic t's to add to my collection. The great thing about this t is the fact that it is ridiculously soft and I can't wait to pair it with a pair of boyfriend jeans, a floral baseball cap and converse this spring! I also love that it introduced me to Flourish Boutique. They carry some of the cutest stuff, trendy AND classic with a mix of super affordable and a few higher end pieces. I'm obsessing over their new arrivals, but especially the Y Knot top, Shift My Way dress in fuchsia, and Pleat My Case maxi skirt (that color though!!!).
On a warm day, I paired my t with a fun pair of chevron shorts, my booties (duh), a jean jacket (another duh), and two fab statement necklaces. This pave pendant bib is my newest go-to. It's the perfect piece at it makes a statement yet isn't overwhelming and goes with everything!!

 There has never been a more perfect maxi dress than this. This is by far the prettiest maxi I have ever worn and I don't want to take it off. It's the perfect amount of floaty and airy and fits like a dream. I am obsessed with the cut out in the front and slits in the sides. You better believe this is going to be on heavy rotation in my spring and summer wardrobe! I think I may have a new favorite online store too, as everything at Poppy Lux is crazy fantastic. I am obsessed.
We've been having some slightly warmer days, and I couldn't resist pulling on my favorite boots, a jean jacket and sunnies the second it reached 50 degrees and the snow started melting.
