All Tied Up

Simplistic summer dresses are my all time favorite. There is nothing better than being able to easily throw on a light little dress when the temperatures outside are scorching.
When I picked this one up from Forever 21, I knew it would be one of my summer staples. Not only is it the perfect little grey t-shirt dress, but it has a fantastic knotted cut out in the middle, adding just a touch of edge. This dress has served as my go to throw on for running errands or heading to the pool.
Feeling the edgy vibe, I added studded sandals, layered necklaces and some cat eyed sunnies and topped it all off with my newest obsession, my 'Natural Stone Minty Fresh Bracelet Stack' from t+j Designs. Seriously, these bracelets are SO cute. I've been wearing them with anything and everything, and love mixing them in with other bracelets, especially because they add a much needed pop of color. Now, I'm definitely eyeing the 'Natural Stone Watermelon Bracelet Stack' ... actually can I just have them ALL? They would definitely make for the cutest arm party EVER.

    Haha, love this simple yet edgy dress. You're right, its perfect. The cut-out, knotted middle steps up the basic shape fantastically. And you wear it so well! You've got the Cali-cool girl style down :)
    And yes, I am so excited/nervous for this upcoming year! Its going to be BUSY. But I'm hoping to stay on top of blogging throughout it.

    it's funny how i adore simple summer dresses so much but for some reason i don't have any in my closet, haha. taking a mental note to shop for a few later because you remind me.     This dress! It's the perfect mix of casual and edgy. I really like how it's knotted! On a summer day, I never want to wear an outfit that has a lot of parts to it and this dress just seems perfect for a laid-back day. And I LOVE how you accessorize. I have so much trouble trying to figure out if a bracelet or cuff goes with my outfit but you are such a pro at it :)
