Comfy, casual and layered is my go to this time of year. I need something warm enough to run errands in that allows me to get away without wearing a coat, so I don't have to lug it around from store to store. Something cozy enough that I can curl up and watch a Christmas movie and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Last but not least, I need something cute that I can wear out to meet up with friends. 

When getting dressed for the day with this outfit in mind, I always start with leggings and a tee, simple and comfortable. Add a cardigan and a cute pair of boots and accessorize to fit your schedule.

Holiday Style

I am so excited to be teaming up with one of my real life friends! Nichole, of Fishbowl Fashion, and I met in college in the Elementary Ed program. We became quick besties finding we had so much in common, including the exact same birthday and a huge love for fashion. I am so excited to introduce you to this gorgeous girl! For my holiday look, I was inspired by Serena from Gossip Girl. A fun, printed blouse and a deep red skirt make for a trendy yet chic combo. Pair it with OTK boots and a statement necklace stunner I am ready for any holiday party! Speaking of these OTK boots, I am OBSESSED! They are 40% off at Nordstroms, so I might need to get them in black too..
