Styling Overalls for Winter

Overalls are my jam. 

They are definitely one of my favorite ways to wear denim and I've styled them multiple times on the blog, including a How to Wear Overalls series I did last year. Many of those posts included ways to incorporate overalls in to your spring wardrobe, with off the shoulder tops and breezy cardigans. Overalls are not just for spring and summer though! They transition perfectly from season to season! 

I love layering up my favorite overalls in the winter (as seen here and here) with beanies, vests and boots. Another great way is to pair them with a chunky knit sweater. This ensures you stay nice and cozy all day long! I am obsessed with these black skinny overalls from Boohoo. Since getting this sweater last week, I have worn it approximately 4 times. You know when you get something new and you love it so much that it becomes your go to whenever getting dressed? That is this sweater. It's the perfect length, comfortable and I love the lace up detailing on the front and sleeves. I'll take one in every color please!!

It's only Tuesday, but I am counting down the minutes until the weekend!! In honor of my two favorite days of the week, I am sharing my weekend uniform. Distressed skinny jeans, a comfy oversized tee and sneakers. I usually top with a cute coat or cardigan and I am good to go for a day of errands followed by dinner and a movie with the hubby.

I hope you had a relaxing weekend and are ready to take on a new week! 

I am sharing one of my FAVORITE recent purchases as of late. I've had this cutie fringe cardi on repeat since I got it. I love the mixed knit and the fun fringe hemline. I've been wearing this on the weekend with distressed denim, but wanted to share how I have worn it to work for a casual Friday. 

A pair of dark wash denim is a must have, especially if denim is allowed at your job. Dark wash tend to be the easiest to dress up and are extremely versatile. These Mott & Bow skinny jeans are my new favorites. I haven't had a pair of jeans fit THIS good in a long time! The great thing about Mott & Bow is you can order two sizes (for the price of 1!) if you are unsure of your sizing, try them on at home, and send back the ones that don't work with the free pre-paid label. Yes, it's that easy! I can't rave enough about these jeans either. They are well made, comfortable and reasonably priced! 

I paired my dark wash skinny jeans with a basic white tank and this fringe cardi for a cute but still chic laid back work look. These mules have been my go to lately (they are SO comfortable) and are perfect for work! Add a few pieces of dainty jewelry, and your good to go!
