Wonderful mirror shots are back!! Yes! I've really got to find a better way to do this. I'm currently residing at my Aunt and Uncles while I student teach as my program would not allow me to do it in my college town or my hometown. Therefore the traveling mirror has returned.

Yes, I have been a very bad blogger lately. But I must admit that my life is anything but fabulous. A day in the life of me consists of getting up at the butt crack of dawn, getting ready while I am half awake, making it to the classroom by 7:30, spending the day with a bunch of wonderful kiddos, home by 4:30ish, dinner, lesson planning and bed by 9:30. Whew. While I love student teaching, life after college is far from the glamour that I imagined.

I'm still alive and I promise to be better...starting this week. Now I'm going to crawl into bed in my favorite fleece PJs (yes, its 6:30 pm) and prep my lessons for tomorrow.

Seriously Chartreuse

Today I had to dress up for a mock parent teacher conference. I was told to "dress professionally" and was not sure what to wear, especially considering I moved half of my clothes back home over break. This top is a recent purchase of mine from Forever 21 and I love it. I paired it with a skirt, grey chunky tights, and my favorite boots. I bought the skirt from Old Navy a year ago on the clearance rack for the grand price of $3. It is an interesting piece, chartreuse and corduroy, but for some reason I was really drawn to it and wear it often. Have you ever thought about what a weird name chartreuse is? It is the perfect fit for such an interesting color. I like it. As for the boots, I guess I should just start calling them "the boots" considering they are my go to pair. I swear I own others...I am a boot fiend, but to be honest, these just seem to be the perfect addition to every outfit.
