Little Red Valentine Dress

Dress: c/o SheIn // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Mab Mini // Shoes: Nordstrom //
Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend! My 3 days was spent relaxing, eating good food and spending quality time with my loved ones! E and I tried fondue for the first time (using this SUPER easy recipe found off Pinterest). It turned out delicious and we used minimal ingredients...something I recommend when you are Fondue'ing for the first time!

Our first married Valentine's was perfect. We made a late brunch of delicious waffles, watched a rom-com, took a nap, took our puppy for a walk and then went out to dinner. This dress was absolutely perfect for the occasion! I love that it is simple, but the lace and open back spice it up a bit! I styled it very simply, with lace up flats and a white bag. I could have easily paired it with heels and a sparkly necklace to dress it up a bit more, but wanted a more low-key romantic look!

Currently Obsessed: High End Beauty Dupes

I'm not going to lie...I've never been the biggest makeup girl. I used to stick to what worked and never ventured outside to discover other products. I always preferred to spend money on clothing or accessories rather than makeup, continuing to purchase my staple (bare minerals) time and time again. It worked, so why change it? Little did I know what I was missing out on!

In the last few years, I've ventured outside of my comfort zone, and started discovering a variety of new and amazing products. Part of this is due to the fact that my town NEVER had a Sephora until three years ago. I am now more comfortable with trying out different products and enjoy browsing the makeup aisles!

When I heard about the new Covergirl masstige products, I was intrigued. These high end dupes give you that luxe look for a fraction of the cost, so I knew I had to try them out!!

I stopped by my local Wal-Mart and picked up the Plumpify mascara, Oh Sugar! lip balms and the truNaked eyeshadow palette! I am so happy to report that I am OBSESSED with all three of these products and highly recommend! The Plumpify mascara definitely gives me the volume I crave, but the two products I must rave about are the truNaked eyeshadows and the Oh Sugar! lip balms!

The Oh Sugar! lip balms come in 10 shades and I picked them up in Taffy and Soda. I love that this product is ridiculously moisturizing. It's definitely more of a lip balm, but does give some color. My local Wal-Mart was out of a few colors, so I will definitely be stopping by to pick them up in the near future!

The truNaked palette is a fantastic deal. It's definitely the perfect dupe for a very popular eye shadow palette but at a third of the cost! I picked it up in the Roses shade, but again, will be heading back to get the Nudes. The colors are so gorgeous and pigmented and I love the few sparkly shades to add a little pizzazz to my makeup routine!

Has anybody else tried out these products?? Any shade recommendations I should look for next time?

It's almost Valentine's day and I have been feeling the love all week! I've been pulling out some of my sweetest pieces, in reds and pinks, and styling them for anything from work to date night!
I wore this sweater and tee combo for my birthday date night with my husband. I re-styled it with white skinnies, lace up flats and a gorgeous white bucket bag for a surprisingly warm Saturday.

This bucket bag is divine. It's the perfect addition to my closet and will take me from winter to summer! The gold detailing on the side really adds the perfect touch, and it is such a great size...big enough to fit everything I need without being TOO big.

Luana Italy is currently offering 15% site wide to Twenties Girl Style readers! Just use the code 'TWENTIESGIRLSTYLE' at checkout!

Happy Wednesday!
3 days left in the work week followed by a glorious 3 day weekend! I'm definitely looking forward to an extra day off, especially since it is the last one (minus weekends of course) until Spring Break!

I bought this top during the Nordstrom sale this summer and it has been one of my closet staples this winter! It's such an easy piece to throw on with a great pair of jeans, but also layers well with sweaters and scarves. Speaking of scarves, this one was recently re-stocked and is such a fun way to bring some color into your outfit. The vibrant pattern isn't the only thing that makes it a great buy...it's ridiculously soft and so warm!
