Two colors I have been extremely drawn to this fall are olive and navy. They just seem to compliment each other so well and are such a cozy combo for this time of year! I also adore a good boxy sweater and this one definitely fits the bill!  Paired with a pair of skinny jeans and a good pair of boots, this is an easy to wear outfit for any fall day!

School Days: Holiday Wear

 The most wonderful time of year is quickly approaching! I don't know about you, but as the holidays draw nearer, my outfits get progressively more festive! Not only am I looking for pieces to wear to holiday parties and festive outings, but also pieces to add little bits of holiday cheer into my everyday work wardrobe! One simple way to get festive is to add a pop of red or green. I fell in love with this jacket the moment I laid eyes on it and knew it would be perfect for the holidays (the quality is pretty great, too!). I wore it over a simple shift dress for work, but love that by changing out the shoes this would be perfectly appropriate for a holiday party!

 This dress comes from Julie Brown Designs and fits like a dream. I fell in love with Julie Brown Designs last year when I wore this little striped number here. I absolutely adore the easy to wear pieces in this collection that transition easily from work to after hours. I am excited to share more holiday inspired outfits with Julie Brown Designs in the coming weeks!

This combo is one I have been wearing SO frequently lately! There is just something about plaid and stripes that makes for the perfect combo! Topped with a cargo jacket and a floppy hat, this outfit is the epitome of cozy fall apparel! This scarf is currently sold out, but check back often! Tis the season for really great sales! It seems like they start at the beginning of November and only continue to get better as we get closer to Black Friday! Currently, Nordstrom is having a fall sale with select styles up to 40% off! A few things I have been eyeing for the past few months just went on sale and are currently sitting in my online cart! Now is the perfect time to stock up on new fall and winter accessories or layering pieces, or even start your Christmas shopping!
