HallowOUT with Boohoo!

Dress: c/o Boohoo // Vest: c/o Chicwish // Boots:Black here, similar here and here // Hat: Old, identical here // Bag: Black here, similar here and here //

Thank goodness it's Thursday! The weekend could not come soon enough! At work, my first grader's are definitely ready for Halloween. With Halloween only a few days away and a full moon in the sky, it's been an interesting week!

This year, I was determined to find a Halloween costume that I could wear all day. I wanted something to wear to work and out and about that wasn't completely over the top. The moment I saw this dress from Boohoo's dress shop, I was immediately inspired. The print and mock turtle neck give off the perfect 70's vibes. Paired with fringe, fur and OTK boots I felt like this was the perfect 70's get-up but still modern enough to spend HallowOUT! I can't wait to dress up!

Boohoo currently has a Halloween shop that can't be beat! I picked up a few other pieces that I will be featuring on Instagram soon! Even though Halloween is just a few days away, head over to find some spooky deals for next year...or just because!

How will you be spending your Halloween?

This week's blogger of the week from last week's link-up is Courtney of The Dainty Darling! I love that Courtney paired her burgundy swing dress with denim and a cozy scarf. What really makes this outfit perfect for fall are the tights, socks and riding boots combo! This is something I would definitely recreate to take me from work to the weekend!

Plaid Poncho

Cape: c/o Socal Gems // Shirt: Old, similar here and here // Jeans: DSTLD // Boots: Black here, similar here and here // Hat: Forever 21 // Bag: Tory Burch //

Happy Wednesday! I have to apologize for a lack of posts lately! From being sick, to having the internet down, it's been an interesting few weeks! We finally got our internet back up and running, but last night I got home late from work and could not keep my eyes open long enough to get a post up. Can anybody relate??

If there is a trend I am obsessing with this fall, it's capes and ponchos! No better way to stay warm, as it's like wearing a blanket all day only far more acceptable to wear out in public! This option from SoCal Gems is perfection. The plaid and fringe are the perfect combo!! Of course, sticking with my current theme, I paired it with stripes. But really though...is there any better pairing??

I am really loving all of the scarves and poncho options SoCal Gems currently has in stock! I love that they are affordable options and great quality! If you are craving a poncho, or a great plaid scarf, definitely check them out!

Tassels + Embroidery

 Is it really already Monday?
I feel like I blink and the weekend is over. I am prepping myself for a crazy week at school as it is the week before Halloween, and my first grader's have been counting down the days until the 31st. I guess I should feel ecstatic that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year and not mid-week, which always makes for a class full of sugar-filled kiddos all week long.

When I received this top from PB&J Boutique, I fell in love. The bright, ornate details at the top really make this little number a fun piece to wear. I decided to style it simply with jeans, cognac accessories and a floppy hat (of course!), for a day of running errands. This piece could definitely be styled up or down and I have even thought about wearing it for Halloween in a Day of the Dead costume.
Either way, it's definitely a fun piece to have in my wardrobe, and with the bright colors, something I will be wearing year round!

Cozy Duster Cardigan

Necklace: Taudrey - This piece is coming to the site soon!  //

Anybody else love a good duster cardigan? What better way to stay warm on a chilly fall day than a long, cozy cardi! This patterned option from Love On a Hanger has quickly become one of my favorites. I love the fun print that makes styling it a breeze! Throw on a pair of jeans, and solid top and you are good to go!

This week's blogger of the week from last week's link-up is Kim of Champagneista! I am loving Kim's long sleeve romper and booties combo! The floral pattern and autumn tones make this the perfect piece for warmer fall days like we've been having! I just discovered Kim's blog and am in love with her fun, flirty style! Definitely a blogger to add to your must read list!
