Flowy off the shoulder tops have been my go to lately. There is something so effortless about a pair of jeans and an off the shoulder top. It's a perfect summer evening outfit! I wore this out for dinner with E. We went to Mexican food and this outfit was perfectly fitting! My Mar Y Sol tote was the ultimate addition to this outfit! I can't get over the cute tassels and how easily it transitions from a beach bag to a purse! This outfit is sure to be a multi-repeat offender this summer. Summer break has officially arrived! I am so excited to spend my days relaxing by the pool or at the lake! I am a total summer girl! I've been stocking up on the perfect water accessories including some new bikinis! I'm not sure why, but I am currently obsessing over brown bikinis (here). There is something so chic about this very neutral color! I can already envision myself in this bikini floating in the pool on a pool float with some fabulous sunnies on. Sounds pretty relaxing, right??

Summer Trends: Ballet Flats

Every girl needs a good pair of ballet flats in her closet! They can be dressed up or down and look cute with just about anything! I love wearing flats in the summer time especially. You can never go wrong with jeans, a plain tank and a good pair of flats! It's a foolproof go anywhere, do anything outfit! There are a few pairs currently on my radar for summer, but I am especially loving the Michael Kors ballet flats (options here). They are SO classic and I adore the different textures and color options. I know I would be able to wear these with anything and through every season! Adding a pair of ballet flats to my summer must have list ASAP, along with some espadrilles (loving the styles here) and gladiator sandals. Hey, a girl's feet must have options!

 Truth be told, I didn't plan this. When I wore this adorable cover-up to the pool and snapped some photos, I didn't notice the most obvious thing...I totally blend in with the pool. The pool and I are having a total twinning moment in our turquoise. It's (almost) summer, so I'm owning it!

During the summer, I spend a lot of time in the water. I love to wear pieces over my swimsuit that I can take on and off easily and that still look nice for running quick errands or to get lunch. Pairing it with a nicer pair of sandals (these Dolce Vita lace-up's are currently on sale for a major steal!) ensures that my outfit is still put together enough even after spending a long day at the pool!

She styled it to perfection with her leather jacket and black booties. I want to wear this outfit ASAP. It's so effortlessly chic! I will be re-creating this look, sweet girl!
