This is an outfit that will be on repeat this summer...distressed denim, casual tank and a statement necklace. Paired with the right accessories, this outfit can be dressed up or down. Spending the day at the lake, I decided to go a little more casual with my Birkenstocks and a fun beach bag!

I am in LOVE with my Birkenstocks! I got the soft footbed and these are just about the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! They are so easy to slide on and look cute with anything! I fell in love with the patent leather option, but you can find a bunch of adorable Birkenstock styles here!

Every summer I invest in a new little white dress. A white dress is a summer staple and nothing goes better with a tan. My pick this year is a little different then what I typically go for. For some reason, this long sleeve option just drew me in and I knew I would be repeating it often this summer! The sleeves are perfect for chillier summer evenings when heading to dinner or for drinks. What really sold me was the cutout in the back. It adds such a flirty touch to this LWD. The best thing about this dress is that it comes in a variety of color options!

I have eyed this coral tassel dress SO many times and after seeing how absolutely amazing it looks on Lauren, I will definitely be purchasing it! She totally sold me with the gladiator sandals and cognac accessories she paired it with! It's such a perfect beachy look for the summertime! You look amazing, sweet girl!

As a teacher, I am constantly looking for pieces that I can take from the classroom to the weekend. While I do have pieces that are strictly weekend, it's nice when pieces overlap into both parts of my world. Enter Pleione Clothing...my newest obsession. Pleione Clothing boasts pieces for the everyday woman, or 'fundamental fashion' that can take any girl from work to a dinner date. I have been wearing their clothing so much lately as it is truly perfect for my lifestyle.

This sheer blouse is probably one of my current favorites. It's flowy and slightly oversized but still has a feminine cut. I've worn it with leggings and boots to work and out for dinner as well as with white skinnies and flats and heeled sandals as seen here. It's just one of those pieces that you throw on and actually feel amazing in. It also comes in a variety of colors, and you better believe I will be stocking my closet with a few different colors come fall for my back to school wardrobe!
