This weekend I made the 3.5 hour trek to visit my boyfriend at college. As I recently graduated from the same college, it was nice being back to my old stomping grounds. I had a great time with the boy, but it was definitely hard to leave Sunday afternoon. Long distance relationships are hard and while Skype, phone calls and texts help to make things easier, they are definitely no comparison to being face to face! 

If any of you follow me on Instagram (@twentiesgirlstyle) you might have seen a little sneak peak of this outfit as this is one of the outfits I wore on my weekend getaway. I'm pretty much obsessed with the color combination of purple, black and leopard. I also love the addition of the combat boots I recently re-discovered in a box under my bed. Not sure how these managed to get lost, but I am so glad to have found them...to be honest, they are pretty much all I have been wearing since the re-discovery! 

Also, I ran out of room on Blogger/Picasa for my pictures! I used Photobucket to upload, but noticed they were deleted this morning and had to re-upload. I'm sure many of you have run into this problem, so what are your solutions? Do you use Photobucket or some other uploading site or pay the extra to get a bigger Picasa storage? Help!

A trend I'm pretty much obsessed with this fall? LEATHER (fake 'vegan' leather is okay with me too). Too bad the only piece to grace my closet this season as of yet is this 'vegan skater skirt' from Tobi.com (one of my new favorite online shops). I love that this skirt is leather, but totally ladylike! Expect to see this pretty little number a ton this fall/winter because I am in LOVE. I love the look of it with pretty much everything, but really enjoyed it paired with this flannel and booties. My bracelet, the 'Houdini' from Jewelmint, adds a very special touch...seriously though, how awesome is it?!

We are having the most unseasonably warm fall EVER. I'm really enjoying it...especially the days when the smoke seems to clear and we have a bout of blue skies. Oh how I will never again take blue sky or fresh air for granted!

I recently received this top from Rire Boutique (if you haven't checked them out, do so now!) and I am obsessed! This darling minty top is adorable and fits like a dream! I've already worn it a few times, and love that it can be dressed up or down. The absolute best part of this shirt though, has to be the back. Not only is it slightly sheer, but it has the most charming button detailing I have EVER seen. It definitely adds something special! I loved the color combination of the mint and the nude and black polka dots and felt extremely girly all day. I also had the tune Miss Mary Mack stuck in my head...maybe because of all those buttons down my back...? :)
