This past Sunday, I got the chance to tag-along with my sister on a Senior portrait session. I was thinking we were just going to browse around the little Bavarian inspired town about 30 minutes from my house, but one thing led to another, and I soon found myself hiking up the majestic mountains in a skirt and riding boots. Outfit choice? Not smart. Worth it? Totally.
The fall leaves, snowcapped mountains, and rushing river reminded me just how lucky I am to live where I do. I mean, where else can you drive just a little ways out of town and experience nature at it's finest?

Although my legs were a tad cold (I was wearing tights...), the rest of me stayed pretty toasty. I paired a long sleeve top with the coziest cardi from Chicnova. I can tell you now, I know this sweater will be on outfit repeat in the coming months. Plus, the cute black and white pattern goes with just about anything. Love! Paired with a fun printed Brandy Melville skirt, and my favorite utility jacket, I had a wonderful day enjoying the great outdoors and reminding myself of all the things I am thankful for, including living in this beautiful place that I too often take for granted.
