Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a fantastic President's Day! I had a 4 day weekend and it was the perfect mid-winter break to get a little R&R, especially after coming down with a virus last week. I'm feeling better now and ready to get back to work! 

One not so basic must have in my closet? Overalls!  E got these for me last year for my birthday and they are one of my all time favorite pieces! They are the perfect way to incorporate denim into your outfit without wearing the standard pair of jeans or a chambray top. Pairing them with a chunky sweater and a beanie is one of my go to's during the chilly winter months.

When I think of Valentine's day, I automatically think hearts (obviously), florals and lace. That's why my last Valentine's look for a day date was a no-brainer! Pairing this sweet crochet tank dress with a colorful floral kimono is the perfect option for a day date with your Valentine! Very girly and romantic yet subtle (my theme for this Valentine's Day). Today's Valentine's look is perfect for a Valentine's spent with your best friends. I would definitely wear this if I were going to lunch or getting my nails done with my bestie on V-day. I actually ended up wearing this out with my sister's, and it was a perfect outfit for a sister outing.

The sweet bow detailing on the back is the perfect Valentine's touch. It isn't over the top HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY, but the bow's are such a fun detail and paired with the pink bag it gives off a subtlety sweet and romantic feel!

 Whether by yourself or with your significant other, sometimes Valentine's Day is all about being comfy and cozy and staying in. Some of my favorite evenings are spent snuggled up on the couch, after making dinner at home, watching a movie and indulging in some junk food. So why couldn't you celebrate the ultimate day of love doing just that? 

For my lazy day Valentine outfit, I went for pure comfort. Fleece-lined leggings, an oversized top and a chunky knit sweater make for the perfect outfit for lazing on the couch! Adding touches of pink in the scarf and of course some glittery rose gold Keds, makes this outfit cute enough to run errands or grab a quick bite to eat on Valentine's day. Who said comfy couldn't be cute?
