Anybody else feel like the weekend is over in the blink of an eye? How is it over already?! I wish I could hit rewind!
The next month is going to be crazy as the school year winds down and I finish with my pro-cert. I have a lot to get done in a little bit of time but summer break is in view!
This skirt was one of my FAVORITE purchases for my vacation! It's so soft and I love the palm print. It sold out fast, but I just noticed it was restocked in all sizes! I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of heeled sandals FOREVER. To make the cut, it had to meet some pretty hefty requirements...comfortable, easy to walk in, the perfect neutral color and a price tag that didn't break the bank. I started perusing Nordstrom, because they always have the best selection and offer free shipping and returns, which is great when you are hunting for that PERFECT pair. I also love that I can shop all of the brands I love and find something at every price point! The moment I saw these cuties, I hoped that it wouldn't be too good to be true. The reviews were great and the price tag was pretty sweet, so I ordered them...and I am so glad I did!
I have deemed these sandals the shoe of summer and think every girl needs a pair in her wardrobe! The block heel makes these strappy sandals comfortable and easy to walk in and they are the PERFECT neutral shade, matching anything and everything in my closet. However, they also come in a ton of other colors like a gorgeous hot pink that would add a fun pop to any outfit! The sleek shape also makes these extremely versatile. Dress them down with denim and a pretty top for a lunch date or pair them with a dress to attend a wedding. If you are looking for a great pair of sandals to dress up or down, these are a must buy!

This cute playsuit was perfect for vacation! In fact, I loved it so much, I ended up ordering it in a second color when I got home (I can't wait to share it with you)! It's one of those easy to wear pieces that is perfect for the warmer months and it's comfortable, but still cute!

I just got back from the Mexico, where I was a total beach bum for the week! Beach life is easy life, requiring nothing but a swimsuit, but there are some things I never leave without! Today I am sharing my beach necessities, or the things that ALWAYS make their way into my beach bag! What are your beach essentials??
Mini Wet Brush: I hate having tangly hair after swimming, so carrying a brush is a must! This cutie is the perfect size for packing in your beach tote and works wonders for getting out those pesky tangles!
Sunscreen: This is obvious! While I am only sharing one today, I actually carry at least 3 different types of sunscreen with me in my beach tote! I love this one for starting the day and for my face, but prefer a spray sunscreen for putting on at the beach. There is nothing worse than being covered in sand and trying to rub in sunscreen!
Zip Pouch: A small zipper pouch is a must for the beach! I always carry one in my tote to store small things like extra hair ties, but most importantly for storing my phone. You never know if sand or water might make there way into your bag, so it's a great way to keep your phone safe!
Face Wipes: Face wipes are always included in my beach tote! The only thing I like on my face at the beach is sunscreen! If I'm heading to the beach later in the day after doing my makeup these soothing hypoallergenic wipes are perfect for wiping off excess makeup. They also work great for a nice refresh after sitting in the sun! I often use them to wipe my face off before reapplying sunscreen or freshen up after a long day in the water.
A Great Read: I am a total bookworm, so packing a few books for the beach is always a must! I actually read three books while on vacation, but The Couple Next Door was probably my favorite. When I'm on the beach I like an easy read and this one was SO suspenseful! It definitely kept me hooked as I finished it in two days. I won't give anything away, but if you are looking for your next read, I highly recommend this one!
Cheap Sunnies: When heading to the beach, I always make sure to pack a pair of cheaper sunnies. I know they will get smudged with sunscreen and scratched with sand, and I don't want to have to worry about losing them in the ocean! I need to be able to throw them in my bag and not worry about them! These are pricier than I usually take to the beach, but I couldn't resist the mirrored lenses and pretty pink frames. I had this pair in my beach bag and wore them most days! Forever 21 and Target are usually my go to for cheap sunnies. I know I can find a cute pair for under $15!
eos Lip Balm and Lotion: I have eos products EVERYWHERE...my car, various purses, my makeup bag, my nightstand, my desk drawer at school...in fact, I don't think I go anywhere without an eos lip balm. eos products are by far my favorite for their delightful flavors, yummy scents and adorable packaging, so it's no wonder that they would make their way into my beach bag!
