This is one of my go to summer outfits. Light printed shorts, a simple tank and a lightweight cardigan to throw on when it cools off! I got this cardigan last year and it has been one of my all time favorite purchases. I love the length, but I also love that it is lightweight and not overly bulky. It can be worn year round, but is the perfect piece to throw in your bag when heading to the movies or to take with you when you are heading out on the lake!

 It seems like lately I can't walk in to Target without walking out with a dress! They have had some of the CUTEST dresses lately, all under $30! If your looking for a fun summer dress in a bright color or fun print, Target is your place! This little layered number is currently $25 and fits perfectly. I've already worn it a few times, including to a summer party, and it is so comfortable and cute. I paired it with  some turquoise earrings and espadrille wedges for a lunch date with E. I will definitely be stalking the Target clothing section this summer in hopes of scoring more cute dresses like this one!

Summer Trend: Little Red Dress

Okay, so maybe little red dresses aren't on hot summer trends for 2015, but they are a big must in my book! There is nothing better than a vibrant red dress on a sweet summer night. Paired with cognac and white accessories and a summer tan, you can't go wrong. In fact, a LRD is something you should always have in your closet! It's such a timeless color and something that can be worn year round! Whether you are going for a bright poppy red, or a toned down coral, a red dress is the perfect statement maker! The above options are some of my current favorites, but I am really craving something with one shoulder. It's the perfect style to wear to a wedding, as you get the effect of an off the shoulder or strapless but without having to worry your dress will fall down while you dance the night away!  This is my favorite outfit lately. I have been wearing some combination of this look for the past two weeks. Jeans and a tee or tank with a statement necklace and fun shoes. It's easy to wear and easy to remix, hence why it's on constant repeat! I am loving heeled sandals at the moment, as they are the ultimate addition to any outfit. They seem to make any outfit instant chic, take this outfit for example...it definitely doesn't have the same appeal with a pair of booties or sandals! I am currently on the hunt for a few new pairs to add to my closet, but the list of contenders is huge. Check out just a few (okay maybe way more than a few...) of my favorite heeled sandals here!

Last weeks blog of the week is Crissy of Some Velvet Morning . I am absolutely in love with the vibrant colors and patterns in this post! This dress is SO fun for summer, and I love the unexpected pop of shoe color. She paired it with some daintier jewelry, but the best accessory is the gorgeous flowers! What a perfect combo!
