When to Splurge - Summer Accessories

It's officially warmed up here and I am breaking out all of my favorite sundresses and sandals! I love a good trendy piece or accessory, especially when it doesn't break the bank, but there are a few pieces I am willing to splurge on that I know I will wear from summer to summer. A neutral pair of sandals, a classic clutch and a great pair of sunnies are things I am willing to spend a little more on because I know I will wear them again and again! 

A white clutch is a summer must! It goes with everything and is perfect for summer night's out or when attending a wedding. I was sold the minute I saw this Kate Spade perforated option. The cutout detailing adds a unique touch but it's perfect size makes this cutie a summer classic to be styled from year to year!

Every few years I invest in a pair of neutral sandals. Something comfortable and cute that I can take from work to running errands on the weekend. This option has been on my wishlist for quite some time and I finally decided to purchase them this year. I have already worn them so much and can't believe how comfortable they are! They are also perfect for summer travel! If you've been eyeing these, you should definitely pick up a pair. They are worth the splurge and I promise you won't regret it! 

A great pair of sunnies is something you will wear year round. I've had these for a few years now and they continue to be my most worn pair. The classic shape and color make these an investment that you will wear year after year!

I can't believe I completely spaced sharing all of my vacation looks with you! Especially this one, as it was one of my favorite outfits I wore in Mexico! 

If you haven't noticed already, I love a good kimono! They are one of my summer essentials and are a must for traveling! They are perfect for throwing on over a bikini and are a light-weight layer for those chillier summer evenings!

My go to ensemble this time of year (if you haven't already noticed), is an off the shoulder shirt and a pair of denim cutoffs. It's an effortless way to look cute and stay cool in the summer time! I just got this off the shoulder top and have already worn it a few times! I love the flowy sleeves and pretty embroidery! It also comes in black and is just $20...a perfect summer steal! Speaking of great deals, these shorts are only $48 and I have been wearing them non-stop! They have a higher waist line and just the right amount of distressing!

I am excited to share not one but two looks with you today! Summer is around the corner and it's time to start stocking up on summer essentials! I have a few repeat offenders when it comes to my summer wardrobe! First and foremost, a great white tank. These are easy to throw on and look great with anything. My two personal faves are this one that is easy to dress up and this super comfy option at a great price point. Next is a colorful kimono. There is no easier way to look effortless than by pairing denim and a tank with a kimono. I also love a pretty white top, something that can be dressed up for date night or dressed down for running errands. My pick this year is this gorgeous cold shoulder crochet cutie. My #1 summer essential though? A great pair of denim cutoffs! 

I am always on the hunt for the perfect denim cutoffs! A flattering fit with just the right amount of distressing is what wins me over every time! It doesn't hurt when the price point is sweet either! On a recent hunt for denim shorts, I happened across the Nordstrom trend section and found SO many great options! I actually ended up ordering a few pairs because many of them were under $50! I planned on trying them at home and sending back the ones that didn't work anddd ended up keeping them all. No surprise there!
