2015 Round Up!

2015 has been quite the year! Focusing on all the amazing things that have happened, just to name a few...

-I traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and am ending the year in California

- I survived my first year of teaching and am half way through my second!

- My blog and instagram have been steadily growing! I just hit 25k on instagram! Whoo!

- I got a puppy!

- I got married!!!!!

I can't believe it was just a year ago that I was blogging my 2014 highlights and had just gotten engaged!

This cape has probably been one of my favorite purchases this winter. I love that it goes with anything and everything and is perfect for a cold winter day! I love how easy an all black ensemble is, but throwing this cape over the top and adding a pop of red really puts the finishing touches on this outfit!

 My favorite way to dress comfy, cozy for a chilly winter day? A scarf, of course!! Pairing basics like this turtleneck dress and cardigan with a printed scarf helps to bring more personality to the outfit. I love that adding a scarf can completely change the outfit with just one simple accessory! Shop some of my favorite printed scarfs below!

One trend I have been loving lately is lace up flats. I love how versatile they can be, easily transition from work to running errands. I have two pairs that I literally wear ALL of the time, but I wouldn't mind adding a new pair to my closet!  Merry Christmas Eve!

I can't believe it's already here! This year has really flown by! I decided to take some time off from blogging this week to focus on catching up on some things and spending time with family. I know you guys understand how hectic things can get and sometimes you just need to take a step back to refresh and recharge! I'm heading out of town next week and have a few posts pre-scheduled, but will hopefully be back to my regular blogging schedule the first full week of January!
