Since I've picked up this dress I can't stop wearing it. I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled across it at Target for just $24! The fit, pattern and back detailing make this dress a total steal! The fun colors are perfect for summer and remind me of a kaleidoscope. With such a variety of colors, it's easy to mix with any bright accessories!  This time around I paired it with a hot pink bag and turquoise tassel earrings, but can't wait to mix and match with other bright pieces in my closet! Target is also currently carrying a maxi dress in this print, and I had a tough time deciding between the two! You definitely need to swing by and pick up one though...I promise this is a piece you will be wearing all summer!

My love for tassels continues to take over my wardrobe! I have had these tassel bracelets on heavy rotation lately! I love wearing them together or mixing in one or two with a different stack! 

 As the temps rise, I have been finding myself pull out my favorite pieces from Mexico! This little off the shoulder dress can be worn as a dress or a top! My favorite beach bag is also back in stock and comes in 2 different colors! I have these sunglasses in two shades and am debating on a third. They are my absolute favorite!

Evening at the Lake

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had an enjoyable 3 day weekend. I spent my three days off at the lake, lounging around, soaking up the sun and reading! I think a little R+R is just what I needed to finish off my school year strong! Only 3 weeks left to go! While I will be SO sad to say goodbye to my wonderful first graders, I am looking forward to going into full on wedding planning mode! 

When night falls at the lake, it definitely cools down. I always pack pieces that can be easily transitioned from day to night. It wasn't super hot on Sunday, so I opted for this sweet cold shoulder  top with shorts. When it was time for dinner, I changed into my favorite jeans (which you can find restocked in ALL sizes here), and jeweled sandals. It was the perfect evening outfit for dinner with family and friends!

My wedding is quickly approaching, and I am on the hunt for two things...white dresses and cute wedges. A girl's got to look cute for her bridal shower, bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner, right?? I am a huge fan of wedges...they are definitely my shoe of choice! Boy am I glad it's the weekend! And a long one at that! I am heading out of town for a mini getaway to one of my favorite places. We spend most of our summer at the lake and this will be the first time there this year. Memorial weekend always ushers in the beginning of summer and I could not be more excited!

I've been packing some of my favorite pieces from Mexico along with some newer light and airy options for this weekend. One of my favorite trends for spring that I am sure will carry on into the summer is embroidery. My closet is definitely showing this obsession as I have been collecting some super cute dresses and tops with embroidered detailing! This sweet mint dress from Fevrie is one of my newest favorites. I love the billowed sleeves and of course the gorgeous embroidered detailing throughout! This Free People tunic top has become one of my favorite pieces EVER. I have worn it so many times lately, with jeans, white skinnys and even as a dress. I love how versatile it is! You know who may not be loving it so much?? E! I have repeated this top SO many times lately for our date nights, that I'm sure he is probably getting tired of seeing it by now. Oops! I don't think that will stop me from continuing to wear it though...!
