This sweet little kimono has been on repeat the past few weeks. I especially love it paired with all white or light neutrals...I've even worn it over a white dress here. These white skinnies are my new favorite pair of pants to wear! They go with EVERYTHING and have a very flattering fit! Make sure to order a size up though...they run small!!
My posts have been sparse the past few weeks as I focused on getting ready for the end of the trimester at work AND planning a wedding.
I decided to take a few days off from the blog to really focus on getting a few things done, and it's been such a huge relief to get those big worries checked off my to do list!
This will be my only post this week, but hopefully things will be back to normal by next week! Thanks in advance for being patient with me and continuing to support Twenties Girl Style as I juggle a few different things at once...it's a learning process!
Now, about this sweet little dress! I picked this up at Loft last fall and it was one of my favorite pieces for fall and winter. I loved pairing it with tights, chunky sweaters, thick socks and boots, but with warmer days ahead, I felt the urge to break it out with bare legs (and my all time favorite shoes of course)! I have linked some of my current favorite leopard options for you to get the look!

One of the things I love most about spring is being able to transition some of my favorite summer pieces in! One of my go to combos this time of year is my favorite maxi dresses paired with over sized sweaters. I love the sweet boho vibes and how comfortable it is!
When I received this dress from Cheeky Peach Boutique, I automatically put it on to wear out to dinner. It didn't matter that it was raining, or freezing, I had to wear it. I'm sure we have all done that at some point or another in our lives! The easiest, most wearable way to style this fab dress for the weather, was to throw a chunky knit sweater over the top, and add a floppy hat and booties. I'm going on vacation soon though and am excited to wear this maxi all by itself! I can't wait for you to see the gorgeous detailing on this dress (if you really can't wait, you can check it out here...also check out this tassel dress that I am obsessing over)!
I have been the worst blogger lately! Between wedding planning and work (report cards are due soon!), I have a full plate! I might not be the most consistent with posting in the next few weeks in the mad dash to spring break...but spring break is just a week and a half away and I can't wait for a little time to relax!
Exciting news on the wedding planning front though...I found my wedding dress! It was a pretty big dilemma, as I was kind of late starting my hunt. Did you know they like you to start shopping for your dress 1 year to 10 months before your wedding day?! I didn't! It also didn't help that we have only been engaged since late December and our engagement will only be a grand total of about 7 months...so that dress timeline wasn't even an option for me.
But, I said 'yes!' to the dress, we ordered it and it gets here in early July...it's a time crunch, but fingers crossed it all works out!
I don't mind rainy days when I get to break out my Hunter's! These get a lot of wear in the winter time, but because we had such a mild winter, they didn't get to make many appearances! I'm dying to get them in green, pink, red, purple...or pretty much any other fun color! With spring just around the corner (Friday is the first official day!), I've linked some options below to re-create this look with spring in mind!
It's been FOREVER since I've done an Instagram roundup! Today I'm sharing what I've been up to over on insta, and taking it wayyy back (like to January) because it's been so long!
I went to Maui in January and it was beautiful. I am already dying to go back! There is nothing more relaxing than laying out and enjoying the gorgeous Hawaiian landscape!
What better way to celebrate being newly engaged than going to Hawaii?? It was the perfect engagement!
Last year I was over the top obsessed with my slider sandals. So much so that when I saw Forever 21 had a similar style I ordered them in two different colors! They are sold out now, but keep checking back for them to be-restocked! In the meantime, check out these gorgeous gold and rose gold options. I might need to order these ASAP...
I've also been obsessing over my Gem La La tote set. More info on the blog this week! Stay tuned!
Although it isn't officially 'spring', the weather has been insanely beautiful and I have taken full advantage of it! I even went as far as to pack up my winter clothes, so the weather better not play any tricks on me!!
This outfit truly sums up my spring staples - a denim dress, a long cardigan, brown booties and tassels! I picked up this cardigan last spring in a few colors and wear them ALL the time! They are one of the best pieces I have purchased as they are so cozy and lightweight. They are perfect for warmer months! I also love that it is a longer cardigan! Paired with my favorite brown booties (YES, I know...I wear these to death! Best purchase ever!), a sweet tassel necklace and a floppy hat, I am spring ready!
What really makes this outfit though is this denim dress. I will definitely get a ton of wear out of this in the coming months! It seems that EVERYTIME I get something from Red Clover Boutique, I have it on heavy repeat. They have the perfect mix of boho and trendy pieces that don't break the bank! I am literally drooling over their new spring arrivals! One of each please?!
