Valentines is just right around the corner! With less than a month away, I'm dreaming of doily hearts in pretty shades of pink and red. When I received this pretty skirt from Chicnova, I knew it was a definite contender for my Valentines day outfit. With a pretty quilted pattern and a soft red hue, it's the perfect romantic touch for V-Day. I paired it with patterned tights, a black t, a pretty necklace and a sparkly cardi for a pseudo Valentines date with the boyfriend. Pairing it with knee high lace-up boots was my way of toning it down and making it look less dressy.

Winter time always makes for hectic time! I've been beyond busy and have had so little time for blogging! I took off for 2 weeks for a little family vacation, which was much needed. When I got back, I jumped right back into work. I am now teaching Kindergarten and am not sure how long I will be there. It's so different from 4th grade, where I was from September to December, but is an adventure I am enjoying. Oh the stories I will have for you:)

In honor of today's Sunday Spot, I decided to post these pictures (they are a month old...oops!), featuring my ABSOLUTE favorite shirt of all time. I've worn this top on in a few different posts (HERE and HERE). It is one of my closet staples as I love the print, it goes with everything, it's great for layering, and it is made out of the softest, coziest fabric EVER!

 Winter Blouse: I love the simplicity of this top. Tuck it into a skirt, add a statement necklace (perhaps the one above), and you are ready to go! This pretty blouse comes in 4 colors (burgundy, olive, ivory and taupe) and could be mixed and matched with anything in your wardrobe! 

Strut the Strut Boot: This boot though...*le sigh. I am a huge fan of moccasin type shoes and love that this totally has the look with the bonus of laces! It comes in black and tan and would be the perfect boot year around!
